Regarding 2B equipment "butt nerf" (Yoshi-P's words) is still being adjusted, what was happening before where it was causing butts to clip through armor and they're working on it.
5.2 mid-February. New MSQ (obviously).
New instanced dungeon, Anamnesis Anyder. Trust system compatible.
Moving forward it looks like they'll only be doing one dungeon per patch.
New beast tribe, Qitari. Gathering focused.
New trial, Ruby Weapon.

First stage of relics. No specific details yet, focused around "Bozja Citadel", home of the Hrothgar.
"Job/PvP adjustments". That's literally all they said, moved right on to Ishgard.

Diadem being redesigned as a gatherer playground. Entry as early as level 10 DoL.
Gathering charges an "aetheromatic augur gauge", use it on creatures in Diadem to obtain special items. (lol gatherer limit break)
New expert recipes, collectables. Expert recipes will have more diverse random modifiers than good/excellent/poor. (clearly trying to kill macros)
"Kupo of Fortune", turning in expert collectables will let you purchase moogle scratch tickets for additional rewards.
Player ranking system for crafters/gatherers who have made the most contributions to Ishgard. Special titles for top ranked crafters/gatherers, additional achievements/rewards for everyone else.
More crafting action adjustments, a feature to estimate the effects of your next action.
Change to make it easier to desynth stacked items.
FC crafting group requirement removed.
Lowered level for Patience, Precision/Powerful Hookset. Animations made easier to determine which Hookset to use.
Crafter relic tools.
Creating materia from spiritbonded items no longer destroys the base item.
Specific crafter jobs no longer required to affix materia, any crafter can meld to any slot as long as they have a crafter at that level.
Fisher exclusive ocean fishing event, ship shows up at specified times that fishers can board and fish out in the deep ocean. Experience/scrips based on fish caught, chance of "big haul" when players reach certain thresholds.
New tomestone type.

Since you're a bard I feel like you should know that it's required for you to get Amon's Hat. It's an armor piece you can get from Syrcus Tower, the 2nd lvl 50 24man raid.
I don't play a bunch of BRD, but I'm pretty sure that just having it set to your glamour increases BRD dps by at least 10%.
It doesn't actually, it just looks dope af and is perfect for the BRD's style.

@MegaMan001 If you have the non-Steam version, the 50% off game awards promotion is still active on the Square Enix store. It is supposed to have ended 12/16 but it's still listed as discounted, so I guess maybe it's based on Pacific time? In which case you have a very small amount of time to grab all three expansions for $20 if you're at all on the fence.
