Yeah I think a MonHun or Solaire have some of the best chances, MonHun is already in slightly via Rathalos and has been insanely popular both in the past and with World doing very well and Bandai helped in devoping the game itself.
I was playing Persona 5 waiting for Smash to unlock when they announced that he was gonna be in and it felt like the universe giving me a big thumbs up

I still desperately want it to be a tetris block, but they added a bunch of tetris block spirits a while back and i think they'd hold those back if they were making my dream come true
the monster hunter seems like a pretty likely choice. i can imagine it being doom guy or minecraft steve. the 12 year old in me still really wants geno.
honestly i don't think it'll be one that excites me much, which, they made me PRETTY HAPPY with banjo so i guess i can live with that

I don't know if Dante's getting in smash (they're adding bonus stuff to DMC3 Switch, so maybe?), but if he does then that'll be one hell of a character.
Style-switching and taunting all day every day. Mechanically unique DLC fighters are the most interesting, IMHO.

Phoenix Wright would be awesome. His Final Smash could just be a courtroom scene where he keeps throwing out Objections! and the character that got caught in it just keeps getting more and more mad until they explode.
I feel like a big point they wanna hit for adding Smash characters is coming from series’ with iconic music to dig into and boyyyyyy would having a dozen dope remixes of Ace Attorney music be great

Put Vivian in Smash. Besides Vivian being great it would force them to release Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door on something besides the gamecube. Super Mario RPG has had a bunch of ports already.

Should I pick up any additional Switch games for South? I already have Smash and MarioKart for group shenanigans. Don't like marioparty. I have Tetris 99 and will probably grab Puyo Puyo Tetris so I can do those tourneys.
For solo play, I have Baba, Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon, Mario Odyssey, and Pokémon.
I have a fair amount of the gotta get indie games in my Steam account already, so things that are console exclusive are preferable.
