See, you use up Mic early on in the first boss, and then you have to continue by spitting stuff at the bosses, or acquiring whatever copy abilities you can get from the bosses themselves, or from the (often randomized) ability drops between fights.
Not so much “only use Mic”, but rather “select mic at the start”.

Ok that is much easier and also like, not super hard if you get lucky RNG and get Plasma
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
honestly while dante as a character does nothing for me, you could do some interesting gameplay things with the rating system of those games, how you're trying to get up to SSS rating by mixing up what you're actually doing, not getting hit, not dropping combos
it's typically desirable to just use a few key moves in your kit in smash so a character who gets rewarded for utilizing some of his "worse" moves could be interesting from a play standpoint
tying some sort of Stylish system to the stale moves system that already exists under the hood would be pretty clever
+1

I think the stylish system in the actual DMC games basically works like stale moves in smash rather than the points thing from melee, it gives diminishing style points for using the same move in a row and such.
And like, to the people that think Dante would be a boring pick moveset-wise, it depends entirely on what they do with him. If they just give him Rebellion and give him all the classic moves like stinger and helmbreaker I'll still be excited, but would understand if other people might not be thrilled.
But like shit man, Dante probably has the biggest possible action game movelist to pull from outside of Bayonetta. He has used a nunchaku, a rocket launcher with a bayonet on it, a motorcycle that turns into chainsaws, gauntlets that switch from punch mode to kick mode and power up the more you punch/dance, a hat that uses your money as bullets, an electric guitar that shoots electric BATS.
That's not even mentioning his style switching that gives him access to dashes and air dashes and teleports and parries and an offensive parry that blows things UP.
They could go so over-the-top crazy with this character, and with how much love Sakurai seems to be showing all these dlc characters, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what would happen.
Sakurai is now talking about how...he decided BOTW Zelda can't be in the game?

Eh, I'm alright with it being Byleth since 3H was my GotY last year.
Bummer they're not a Pokemon Trainer equivalent with the three lords doing the fighting nor that it's Edelgard instead, but I'll take it since Byleth does use Edel, Dimitri, and Claude's signature weapons.

I.
Don't think that is actually possible.

Or a way to bring back the points mode from Melee

kids these days don't appreciate the glory that is a demo disk for 60 shareware games

I adore this with all my heart.
Why not just ask for some saltines dipped in dorito dust?
GenU has so many weird monsters I wanna see brought over to World, like Malfestio, that anteater, and Valstrax.
Is this supposed to sound like not a tasty thing?
I found an old “GAME EMPIRE” disc once, which I remember being a source for a lot of amusement as a kid
Looked into the actual CD contents, which was something I never thought to do as a kid
There was a full-on pirated copy of Rise Of The Triad on it, apparently
shit thats tough
probably DQ because i remember the final segment of TMS not being very enjoyable
Cool, this was one of my guesses, wonder what the other 2 are
Baba is DMC
Which, while not being particularly exciting, certainly makes sense
“Too much Fire Emblem” is a constant thing, but like, Three Houses was a big game with a lot of neat stuff
At least the trailer made fun of to many swords
Man is that disappointing
