I like how Feyd-Rautha just looks like Sting and no one else looks like the people from the movie.

I like that there has never been an adaptation of Dune, in any medium, that has been anything close to a normal production.

It's not just Sting, Jessica Atredies looks like she does from the movies, too. And she looks that way in the finished game.

Back when I played this game I liked that, because she was one of the few characters who I felt was cast well in the movie.

That game was probably the first game I finished without the help of my dad

    I love it

The music, the atmosphere, the Fremen subtitles, the way that you can give sietches atomic weapons and the Fremen are all, "Oh god, atomics..."

    The death animation...

I had a dream where a voice said I was “the sword at the heart of oblivion” so now I think I’ve got to save this or another world when I go to sleep next.

it was slow at work, so we were watching part of a documentary about trees.
one researcher in the film said something like "this tree is 5000 years old" and i spur of the moment said
"oh, that tree is 5000 years old. what folly are the works of man" and one of my coworkers just cracked up laughing.

There are a number of martyrdom stories associated with various Valentines connected to February 14,[2] including an account of the imprisonment of Saint Valentine of Rome for ministering to Christians persecuted under the Roman Empire in the third century.[3][4] According to an early tradition, Saint Valentine restored sight to the blind daughter of his jailer.[5] Numerous later additions to the legend have sought to better connect it to the theme of love: an 18th-century embellishment to the legend claims he wrote the jailer's daughter a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell before his execution;[6] another addition posits that Saint Valentine performed weddings for Christian soldiers who were forbidden to marry.[4]

The Feast of Saint Valentine was established by Pope Gelasius I in AD 496 to be celebrated on February 14 in honour of Saint Valentine of Rome, who died on that date in AD 269.[7][8]”
