I was probably just playing at a bad time. Ugly five game loss streak where I did pretty well outside of one shit performance but every other player on my team was hopelessly outclassed by their counterpart. I believe I posted that after our jayce died five times to tryndamere before ten minutes and begged the team to surrender at fifteen because he was a bronze player and had no idea how he ended up in this game. Weird stuff.

I am having fun with poppy support.

It is fun to yell GET DA FUCK OUTTA HERE as you launch an enemy team away from a fight and leave a lone goober standing there

Both LEC and LCS will be back this weekend, with the players playing remotely.
Glad to see they’re returning. I really enjoyed the in-houses from last weekend too.

Poppy support in Silver/Gold is legit.
Give me more of this MMR band of goobers to face the might of my hammer.

You might also try Sion support; it can be really strong in the right hands and people aren't used to playing against it

In the meantime, this was a game where Mundo said "gg lucien has no support" and the team wanted to ff at 18
TBF their teamcomp was win early or lose hard. MF and Olaf fall off hard, they have no magic damage and Hecarim could only really gank bottom so their snowballing champions had no real chance to go off. You and Mundo just needed some armor and health and could walk your way through the enemy team.

I'm interested in why Vi went full tank build and runes when she's teamed with Mundo and Poppy.

you still get some stuff from the free pass, it's just tft only.
also it's an entirely new set of tft characters which is kinda a nightmare having to totally relearn the game every time, i'm not a huge fan of this huge sweeping seasonal set change for tft they keep doing.

Their plan is to do that like 4x a year. That way the game doesn't get stale and isn't just "solved."

i get the idea to avoid the game being solved, but i wish it was like 8 changes a year half as big as this. it's so painful relearning everything.

As I understand it, the level of reform is on par with most collectible PvP games e.g. MtG, Hearthstone, etc.

ya probably true, it just feels brutal when you get to the carousel and it's like i don't know what any of these jerks do because you can't click on them in the carousel or see any of the effects or anything. also the game will only tell you about the new item combos if you have the items to do the mouseover stuff. i think if the game had an in match wiki or something, that would help a lot.

?
I don't play those games but my brother does and when I talked to him about how TFT changes are so sweeping from season to season he explained how that's normal for games of that nature. Every Magic and Hearthestone player is in a constant state of retooling their decks around every seasonal release.

I agree with that. The interface is trash tier and really needs a lot of work. You shouldn't need a wiki or something open to understand all your options in a competitive game like this.

I did a couple of promos today. For some reason it decided to start me out in low Iron, so I've been stomping on Akali. They've really nerfed the heck out of her over the last few months.
i feel like the set bonuses in this season make no damned sense. i've just had an extremely hard time making a team that does anything, and readability is way way down in fights, half the time i'm not even sure why my units are all dead. idk by this many games into the elemental season i had at least a vague grasp of things and had found a few combos i liked. this season just feels terrible.
Something of note, for people who wish to climb. I've been watching a youtuber called Jay Sea lately, mostly because he showed up on my Youtube frontpage when I was bored. Turned out he's done a series of Iron to Diamond videos, climbing up. What's of note is that in those videos he explains pretty in-depth about the meta and strategy decisions he makes and why he makes them. So his videos are very constructive in teaching how to leverage a lane win into a victory, and how to snowball a lane so you get ahead and stay ahead.
Good things about Sejuani:
-Super good clear. I can often out farm my laners.
-Excellent ganks pretty much throughout laning phase.
-Still strong late game with huge tankiness and a deceptively damaging W that scales on max health.
Bad things about Sejuani:
-Her best skins are Legacy.
I think maybe she's not actually a Yasuo counter but idk, she seemed like what we needed into the Yasuo/Alistar/Malphite situation, and Shyvana did come to gank my lane 3/4 times and got a kill every time
But also I felt very bullied and didn't farm as well as Yasuo once lane was over
I don't really know what to play into Yasuo, honestly; I usually play Lux mid and like other artillery mages
I strongly believe weekend night games are filled with most toxic players. I'm getting tired of filing reports after games.
This is correct, particularly Sunday night

I wonder if ormns passive of buying items anywhere would make a good keystone.
Would be OP as shit.
I wonder if it could work as a quasi-Teleport summoner spell. Use it on a nearby structure to summon a small portal to your shopkeeper which can transmit a item purchase, then goes on cool down for a couple of minutes.

I normally counter Yasuo by permabanning him, as I don't have the patience to deal with his particular brand of bullshit. When I played him, I felt that anyone who can get in his face and stay there and keep unloading damage is good, since his pattern is to go in and out in quick trades, using his e and passive to minimize damage. The other counter is actually artillery mages, in that you push him into tower and keep him there. Windwall is a long cooldown, so he can't actually stop your shit. Never be near your own minions, so he can't jump to you.
For late-game, when he inevitably get a few kills anyway and starts going off, I don't know. It's why I ban him. Point and click CC?

Yeah 100% ban Yasuo every game but if you're absolutely compelled to fight him maybe Swain? He does well against other melee mids like Kat and Zed. I don't really mid at all but last time I did I got a Kat to rage quit within 10 min.
The Schalke vs. Vitality game from this weekend has the quality toaster commentary I expect from League games. 10/10 commenting, will watch more. The game's ok.

I usually ban Yi because he tilts me like no other
Then if Yi is already banned I ban Tryndamere because I don't want to deal with that shit
Yasuo is my third choice (but loserforhirex always bans him so when we duo I know there is no Yasuo risk)
Man I feel like Yasuo pushes so fast; would I actually outpush him as Lux? Maybe I shouldn't be so scared to try.
Ohhhh actually I bet you can play a great Malzahar into Yasuo, but the problem with that is that Malzahar is the most boring champion in the universe possibly. But potentially worth playing on that rare game where I'm fishing for a counter.

It's a program. Blitz. I use to to import runes and builds for champions since I'm still pretty new.
EDIT: And the post-game report lets me know the things I do well and fuck up on. MVP means I had the best performance of the group!
