Has there been anything about the extension of the Toys event? I thought it was supposed to end two weeks ago but it's still going and I can't find anything talking about it other than "it's supposed to end March 3rd"

Yes, you can join voice chat with your team. In draft it's in the top left of the screen, in the game it's in the top-left of the tab menu. It' snot super common that people actually join, but you can try.

I used to join vice chat in random Qm until sometime called me a n-word + other obscenities for not "healing" them on Deckard because i was throwing potions directly into them instead if putting them on the ground as they walked into every enemy spell effect with their face. Haven't done it since.

Fan has a Platinum Anub teammate that is getting salty, so Fan goes out of his way to tell the Anub player what he needs to do before the next big engage. A few seconds later, the teammate does the opposite of his advice and gets wrecked, causing them to lose the game.

Oh, man @Inquisitor77 beat me to it. I saw this video pop up on my feed when I first woke up this morning (I love this Nerdslayer Death of a Game series), but I hesitated to watch or share it at first. Because I know exactly why HotS fucking died; it's no big mystery that we need to solve. And even though I'm very much interested in talking about, and hearing others talk about, this game that I absolutely (and yes, still) love, this video also feels a lot like re-opening an old wound.
We've been having this conversation for over a year. I love Heroes of the Storm, and I continue to play it almost every day. But it's dead, and you can't change that by coming to the forums and just saying so. The game has lost all of its momentum, with the cadence of new releases slowed down to an absolute crawl, if not halted completely (Deathwing released 4 months ago, have we heard any news about what the next hero might even potentially be?). They're still running the Christmas/holiday toy event moving into the second quarter of 2020, just like they did last year, because there's nothing else planned. The "pro-scene" for this game, which was always propped-up and artificial, is completely gone. The playerbase is fucked now more than it ever was before, with borderline Platinum-level players landing in Masters because nobody else is playing the game. The development team, where they haven't just resigned directly, have been cannibalized by Blizzard and shifted over to other projects.
Yes, we occasionally get balance patches. Yes, we'll occasionally get new content. Yes, people still logon and play it every day.
But you can say the exact same thing about EverQuest (which just saw its most recent expansion "Torment of Velious" release four fucking months ago).
And I think we can all agree that EverQuest is a dead game.
Heroes of the Storm is in the exact same position. And you can deny it all you want, but all of the evidence is there.
Fucking hell, NerdSlayer's even added it to is "Death of a Game" series, so it's not even just me out there trying to be a dick to everyone.
I don't think HotS is dead, and I think all the "evidence" provided for that is subjective at best.
Just for fun, I did a quick search of whatever The Internet (tm) thinks a "dead game" is, and HotS doesn't meet those definitions anyways. (And yeah, it's the Internet, I'm sure there are definitions there it does reach, I just looked for like 30 seconds and as I said this was just a silly fun thing, don't argue this point :P )

As an aside, had some fun SL games last night with a 5-person PA group. Bad first loss, before back to back wins. Feels so much more fun talking and strategizing with other people.
