    ...I also chased a rice grasshopper for a while that was so flustered that it hopped directly into a river.

    The sturgeon is a myth. I swear I have chucked dozens of handfuls of fish bait looking for that big shadow. Nothing.

    Edit: Of course I just got it. The secret is to call the fucker out in the thread. Then it shows up.

    My wife just built all 3 homes. Got the prompt that it was the last one but when she talks to Nook nothing happens. We've gone back to all 3 houses and verified that they all have check marks. Any ideas?

    I donated over 70 things to our museum today. Thank fuck you can donate in bulk. I set aside hours to do this today.

    Now I have ladders as my partner advanced the game. Whatever happened to our first island was fucking weird. I literally couldn’t get a thing after the basic tools.

    I've never seen a scorpion. I've only seen one spider. I've seen Tarantulas aplenty.

    Did get to what I'd call my first significant hol-up-a-minute as player 2 yesterday, I was waiting for my wife to place the bridge which was fine, then she did that, picked the 3 house sites and then I thought I'd have been able to help craft stuff but no. Couldn't get the recipes from anywhere myself so had to bring her character in and just drop off all the materials.

    Got one house worth of stuff checked off, will try for the other 2 tonight. Will we have one new islander, or do all 3 need to be completed and then talk to Tom Nook to move things along?
