Dibby ive been trying aggrolock. How do you play it? I see the synergies for buffing hand and drawing through discards and sometimes it works. But it can't be that draw dependant. Can you show a few games or maybe elaborate on some strats?
I can post some replays later, but, I'll give some general advice:
- Mull for Scrap Imp always, Flame Imp, Battlemage... you basically just want your good aggressive 1-drops
- Goal is to board flood and maintain control of your board through smart trades, go face. Zoo is a weird one cause it can be very trade-heavy at times.
- Depending on the matchup, you can just drop Scrap Imp and Tap twice. Vs slower decks, usually. Otherwise don't get too greedy, just drop him and keep developing board.
- Tap tap tap tap. This is how you stay in the game. If there's a good time to tap alongside playing a one drop, it can usually be worth it.
- If you have Magic Carpet in hand alongside several one drops, try to hold those for a swing turn.
- Scrap Imp creates huge swing turns. Dropping a 7/7 rush after is generally pretty backbreaking. Magic Carpet after Scrap Imp is huge.
Two vs a Demon Hunter, one vs a Galakrond Warlock, one vs a Res Priest. Zoo is HIGHLY unfavored vs those latter two and they're extremely difficult matchups.
Anyway that aside, on a more personal note, man this meta fucking sucks. It's literally DHs and Galakrond Warlocks just all fucking over. I'm so sick of it. It's garbage. I have three choices when it comes to playing a deck right now. 1) Play Demon Hunter and try and nav the 50/50s with the mirror and vs Galakrond Warlock 2) Play Galakrond Warlock and try and nav the 50/50s with the mirror and Demon Hunters 3) Play something that aren't those two decks and get whomped by both.
What a fun fucking meta. I've been going up and down and up and fucking DOWN between Diamond 2-4 and I've basically just mentally checked out at this point. Who gives a fuck anymore. Not fucking me.
Sidenote: In the DH mirror if you go 2nd you fucking lose. The end! That's it! There's no recovery!
Those nerfs can't come soon enough. Jesus. PLEASE let me play other decks. God.
Apparently no minion mage is the only deck i can pilot in this meta. It's still a flat 50 winrate but at least i get to play a fun deck. Swapping in double conjurers helped a lot. Hope for an early minion off that one secret and you got a shot against most decks.

I once had a good time with a “screw you” Warlock deck that was filled with tech cards, counters, and mill stuff. It lost vs normal decks, but laughed at specialized decks looking to OTK, C’Thun, Rez, and so on. Good times!

Though the Diamond 5 to Legend climb is shorter than the old 5 to Legend, the season reset climb to Diamond 5 dad Legend definitely feels longer than the old climb to 5.
You can even mute the tab and dunk the stream quality down to 160p, if you want. Make sure you're not muting it via Twitch itself, though, I think there's some sort of weird tracking thing where they check if the the Twitch player is muted or not? But Chrome has the Mute Site functionality, so.

Took it out again and had a lot more succes!
I was playing it too agressive with minions and too conservative with health.
It seems coining into "your Boy" has the highest winrate. I have added one sac pact to help out against aggro, freeing up face dmg that would otherwise have to trade to live.
Edit: If that doesn't work, then I'm out of idea to help you procure your packs of 40 dust.
That's my current plan. They claim watching any HS stream counts, so I'll probably park Twitch on someone before I leave and hope they keep streaming for a while.

Really fun deck!
Yeah, Scrap Imp zoo is like Keleseth lite. If you get to play Imp turn 1 or 2 (and especially if you nut draw both), your chances of winning improve substantially. If your imps are buried, you're just playing an average Zoo deck in what is currently a brutal meta.
Had fun ranking last night with a buffing priest, kept eating DH into a good streak. For some reason they liked to go face in the first couple of turns ignoring a small minion that would then quickly be buffed and get cloned and lifesteal which without removals is kinda stuck there for them. With all the lifesteal my quest also completes quickly letting me buff further. That dormant taunt demon has also been a really good turn 1 play, when it wakes up you are ready to buff it.
I may have lost to many other classes last night but targeting DHs felt good.
Matched against rogue who had evolve secret up. I spend 3 turns getting imp procced and set up a board, not attacking any of his minions. Then he gets the taunt lacky on a 1/3 miscreant and i have to attack it because my soulfires are missing.
It's been a hot fucking minute since I last had a 1st place so this win felt good.
I tripled my Infested Wolf and had snagged an Argus to slap on Goldrinn and my Golden Infested which is why I settled on Imp Mama just as a 7th minion slot.
Never did get to triple that Mama Bear, though....

Inner rage has not seemed useful so far, but gives range with grom.

Really fun deck!
Double soulfires helped a lot but still...
0 backstab
0 shadowstep
1 blackjack stunner
1 dragons hoard
1 Pharaoh cat
1 praise galkrond
2 ambush
2 bamboozle
2 dirty tricks
2 evicerate
2 shadow jewel hanner
2 underbelly fence
2 zeph
3 akama
3 Edwin vancleaf
3 evil miscreant
3 seal fate
3 terrorguard escapee
4 devoted maniac
4-hench clan burgler
4 maive
4 vendetta
4 zul’drak ritualist
5 shield of galkrond
6 flik skyshiv
6 heist baron toggwaggle
6 kronx
7 galkrond
7 siamat
9 Dragonqueen alex
In an era without Leeroy, finishers are fuckin' primo.
Except when you lose the 1 in 7 and discard the other Soulfire that's real cool
Glad it's working out for you @bwanie! It's a fun deck. Should hopefully perform better once the nerfs come in.

I had a rage quit as a present when I had the Christmas Secret Tree up. Also had the shame concede with the DH didn't attack before dropping Adept.

Not that i know of. Because of what you mentioned and beacuse learn draconic fits better.
If the spells it generated were free, I would run it but as it is now? Not worth losing your ping hero power.
