I really wish this game made it so you could switch the primary resident on an island without having to go nuclear and obliterate all progress instead.
Edit: Here is my process for building a single bridge.
Log on as Primary Resident. Go to Nook. Get bridge. Put bridge down.
Save and exit.
Log on as myself. Get bells out. Go to bridge. Pay for bridge.
Save and exit.
The whole having to deal with saving and exiting, is just another layer of slowness in a game that feels deliberately designed to just waste your time unnecessarily. Why can't I just build the fucking bridge?
