From reading the comments, that was Iceland's eurovision entry for this year?
Holy shit, they were robbed by Corona, because that fuckin slaps.
yeah, Russia's entry got a lot of attention because it's silly and weird, but Iceland's is actually a legit good song that gets stuck in my head for days at a time

Probably not. If you can see an adult mite moving around in a hive, it's probably a species that just eats leftover wax and carapace debris without doing any harm. Varroa destructor is an unusually vile subspecies of parasitic mites, most of the rest of whom feed on individual bees to an extent that doesn't threaten the hive as a whole. In any case, parasitic mites spend most of their time attached to bees and partially buried between their abdominal segments, and don't tend to roam around much past the nymph stage.
Be careful with that name, I understand that if you post it three times at midnight while invoking the mods and staring at a bathroom mirror with only a single vanilla bean scented candle for light, you become the new Schmimpy Pimpy.
And here's something a bit more solemn for Memorial Day:
Every Memorial Day from 1999 on a lantern floating ceremony is done here in Hawaii, organized by one of the Buddhist temples. Normally thousands of people turn up for it, but due to Covid the ceremony was changed to account for the state's rules about social distancing and other gatherings. There's a net in the water that keeps the lanterns from floating out to sea, and they get cleaned up after the ceremony.

The joke still works without, but it's better with sound:

Thriller Hands!
I could say the same thing about you!

Probably a super sick burn outside a text medium.
wow that cat is crying like an infant
It took me entirely too long to realize it's a song from a new parent to a child
I've heard that housecats meow only to emulate human infants crying because they think it will get them attention. How true that is I have no idea.
BEES?!
the rare pop song where a chorus addressed to "baby" is referring to an actual infant
I love that once it gets going you can see a delay between the movement at the front and back of the disk
I love how their first thought upon emerging is "I must lick everything around me"
shmimpy pimp-? Haven't heard that name 'round here in a long time.
A long time.
Oh god what are you saying

That grass looks so perfect I feel like it must be fake
@WeedLordVegeta
That's what grass looks like when you have your own live-in gardener.
edit- sound for these two

Needs a 'Warning: Irony' sign in front of it.
