Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I know mythic spoiler has more "spoils" but i still like to point people to Scryfall, instead, as they usually source well and respect the time for the card revealing people. Also the best translation puns.
Oh man, Heroic Intervention is getting a re-print. Gonna have to jank together a big ol' green stumpy deck.
The re-prints in general are so damn good this set. I'm really glad they're doing this to get some of the prices on the secondary market under control. Hell it's hilarious that Fabled Passage is already getting a re-print which is great since I would love to get more copies of that but the cost is kind of crazy for a fetch land that doesn't get that much play outside of Standard and EDH.
Think I just managed to win a draft match by misreading the board state and emoting 'GG' while we were both top-decking.
that or his boss came in... oh wait Covid... Had to take a conference call?
Nah.
It was 'GG' => frantic highlighting of all the cards => 'thinking' => more frantic highlighting => surrender
We were on like 2 life to 6 (after he gained life from his vigilance tribal guy), with me continuously chump blocking his 'protected from even' dude, while flying over and pinging with cycle.
I would have won if I had top decked a cycle card, and otherwise would likely have lost.
But just being bad at the math worked too.
Basically Stuffy Doll but with the benefit of Fighting stuff as an ability. Lots of potential for janky fun, like Cathartic Reunion it in to the grave then Call of the Death Dweller to bring it in with death touch, then just start picking fights with everything on the board.
That or put Colossification on one of your creatures and have them fight it out.
Never fails to ruin a fun game when Thassa shows up and starts her bounce BS. I despise that card. There is no good reason she should have indestructible at 4 mana cost with how strong that bounce can be.
I'm weak and got the 5 Secret Lair sleeves for Arena, for $8 total (eBay)

Question: what's the deal with Cube Drafts on Arena? It looks like I can just hit Start and enter, when there's also options to pay with gems or gold. How's this work?

Have you got a free draft token from somewhere? (check up by your gems, gold, wildcards etc to see)
7-2 Arena Cube free run with BR sacrifice. Also showing sideboard picks and the Unsealing/Traxos picks I was tinkering with before deciding to focus on the sacrifice thing.
I found another Monowhite Lifegain decklist that looks promising. The YT vid for the deck discusses how it plays. It's a bit heavy on Rares and Mythics, so I've tweaked it to my collection:
My version:
4x Alseid
4x Healer's Hawk
3x Shadowspear
4x Pridemate
4x Daxos
1x Impassioned Orator
4x Banishing Light
2x Dreadful Apathy
3x Heliod
3x Linden
2x Omen of the Sun
1x Lurrus (as a creature)
1x Cubwarden
(Castle Ardenvale singleton; 2x Idyllic Grange; 2x Godless Shrine; 2x Temple of Silence)
I'm debating dropping the Scry lands since they slow tempo. If I like this list enough, I may burn a wildcard on a Cubwarden; although I had to burn one for my third Linden
His version:
4 Linden, the Steadfast Queen (ELD)
20 Plains (IKO)
4 Ajani's Pridemate (WAR)
4 Heliod, Sun-Crowned (THB)
3 Hushbringer (ELD)
4 Healer's Hawk (GRN)
1 Lurrus of the Dream Den (IKO)
4 Castle Ardenvale (ELD)
3 Banishing Light (THB)
4 Alseid of Life's Bounty (THB)
3 Ajani, Strength of the Pride (M20)
2 Cubwarden (IKO)
4 Daxos, Blessed by the Sun (THB)
I need more plays with this deck, but it may be my main deck once M21 shows up, so I'm going to start checking spoilers. I certainly need more planeswalkers.
...
If I have Starfield Mystic and Lurrus in play, can I cycle a 3 CMC enchantment like Dreadful Apathy from my graveyard?
Lurrus is 2 CMC permanent spell so.. wouldn't that be on stack rather than on card?

It's an activated ability that can only be used if the card is in your hand.

Sorry, can I play a 3 CMC enchantment from my graveyard.
As opposed to the literal keyword cycle.

Nope. The CMC would still be over 2. Now if the situation were the opposite, say your opponent had Callaphe while you had Lurrus, you could still cast Heloid's Punishment on an opponent's creature, because the CMC would still be 2 even though you'd have to pay 3 to do it.
It seems dumb that X is as chosen and part of CMC when the spell is on the stack, but adjustments to the cost are not part of the CMC on the stack.
These are both true though
So like, if you have Ugin and lurrus out and cast stonecoil serpent from the yard X can at most be 2 even though Ugin reduces the cost such that it costs 0

CMC is just the total amount of mana printed on the card regardless of color/type. 3WWW, 4BB, 4(u/r)(u/r), and 5G all are the same CMC (in this case 6) but wildly different mana costs. If something reduced the cost of your white spells by 1, Planar Cleansing would still have a CMC of 6 even though you only had to pay 2WWW to actually cast it.
Nothing can change CMC for most objects. Those objects with an X in their mana cost do change their CMC when on the stack but everywhere else that CMC is always the same value (where X = 0) like everything else.
The fact that Lurrus makes you actually pay for these things instead if just putting them on the battlefield is why it has the oddly-specific wording of "permanent spell with CMC 2 or less". Contrast, say, Necropanther, which just grabs a CMC 3 or less creature. You could get a Stonecoil Serpent that way, but unless you have something else going on you probably don't want to.

Lurrus reads permanent spell though, instead of permanent card like it's own deck restriction.
