How do Stands not even show up until the third series??
Things get changed up pretty heavily in part 7 too. There are stands but many of them act so differently from past stands that you could rightfully imagine it a different series.
Isn't 7 the reboot?
it's set in a different timeline with some returning characters that are completely different from their part 1 couterparts
So is the main timeline done or will it continue
I will admit I have no idea of the JoJo manga situation
Gonna toss out one more AMV, another One Piece one.
Mad spoilers through the timeskip.
This came out around when the anime had the timeskip, apparently the guy threw it together in like 2 days. It's not fancy, it's not special, it's not even especially good. But I like it, and I can't fully explain why.

so, big spoilers for part 6
the villain kinda wins and his power is to make time accelerate so quickly that the entire universe is destroyed and a new one is created that is roughly similar with some changes, and he does it several times
theres lots of rules to the way it works that I won't go into, but the short of it is that the timeline of parts 1-6 is gone and 7 and 8 take place in a different one

And how often it doesn't. I'm pretty sure Hol Horse shot himself more often than he hit his actual targets.
I greatly respect hol horse's hustle
dude gets paid by dio
he loses, and rather than do what literally all the other jobbers do, he fucking backs down and peaces out
and you never hear from him again
also, the emperor in the hands of somebody who was more competent would be the world levels of busted
Well, he doesn't so much back down as he gets hospitalized and isn't in any position to come after them if he wanted to. But we don't see him harassing anyone in later parts, so he probably did indeed back off for good.

Given that most JoJo protagonists start out at an 11/10 creep factor before they get punched into friendship, Hol Horse is probably a Nobel peace prize winning scientist in his free time
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I've heard Hol Horse was like that because he WAS going to be written into the good guys but then Araki changed his mind
Yeah Araki talked about how he considered it but in the end he overlapped too much with Polnareff (being the dumbass of the group) and Kakyoin (fighting with ranged attacks).
I've heard Hol Horse was like that because he WAS going to be written into the good guys but then Araki changed his mind
he'd be way too strong!
Mista is a protagonist and is arguably more busted than Hol Horse (Mista needs to carry a physical gun and bullets, but his Stand can ricochet the bullets at hard angles and make their own decisions), and he ends up shooting himself way more often than he hits his enemies. If the guy with the gun stand is on the hero team, the enemy will absolutely find ways to screw with the gun stand.

*vaguely gestures at avdol*
Araki has this whole thing at the end of one of the hardback volumes where he discusses how hard it was to actually write fights for someone with an elemental power like Avdol's. He's basically decided that broad effects like Fire or Poison have become off-limits for the heroes.

Yeah it's pretty telling that the next fire user (all the way in Part 8) is far far weaker than Avdol yet still manages to be busted.

BNA goes nuts. I dunno if "baseball" episode is just a thing in anime now but there's a baseball episode and Trigger just went buck wild with it. They've absolutely mastered the art of sloppy animation. Like, I love how loose they get with it while still making it look cool as hell. They've boiled it down to its absolute bare essentials.
Although this does make me want to watch Kill la Kill again.

Gun powers? Incredible useful. Dangerous, even to the person using them.
Actual guns? Get that weak shit outta here what are you a dunce? Bringing a fucking gun here what a maroon

Wanna get a prediction with Erased written down so I can say "called it" if I'm right.
Pretty sure the teacher is the killer. He's a dude with black hair, like the killer, and him being a teacher would give him a bit of trust and authority that he could've exploited to pull it off. Mostly though, it's just that he seems like a trustworthy, kind character, so he seems like someone they would make the killer as a twist.
I have finished Dorohedoro and now I want morohedoro
... Anyway I ordered the first 3 manga volumes

like yeah okay he 's kinda emotionally closed off but he does care about others, and he's gonna use this time travel to try and prevent these murders and learn about connecting more meaningfully with people along the way. That's fine, but I think I enjoyed the mom and Kenya a lot more. No time travel guiding their actions, just kinda
Having Megumi straight-out win the BLUE prelims for the school's entry almost came out of nowhere. I figured since Erina got the free pass, she would be the one girl, and we'd get a mix of Soma, the spice boy, blond-Aldini, naked chef, and/or Kurokiba.
