It is probably the most common thing in the sports world, any sport, when a manager or coach is hired and proceeds to change an already well-running team into whatever they would prefer rather than adapting to fit the team and players.

    *stares in David Moyes*

that line in Stormzy's Know Me From still kills me every time

I come to your team and I fuck shit up
    I'm David Moyes

    Allegedly a voice of reason.

Leicester are about to throw everything and the kitchen sink in the second half and we've been shaky enough in defense that I'm not very confident we'll be able to hold on.

We've had a lot of almost-goals. Just missing that final bit of quality to get the ball in. Williams hasn't been completely awful today but he's also not offering much going forward.

i would really like United to sign some depth

today should have been cut and dry by all accounts yet the players looked absolutely exhausted, some of them were going walking pace at times

We need another attacker, another creative midfielder, a left-back, and another centre-back.

I just realised that bournemouth went down by a point

and that villa got a point from the goal line technology fuck up against sheffield united

i doubt there's any legal recourse but bournemouth should feel very hard done by

i'd say in that order, too

the first two are mandatory, the last two are in the would be nice category imo

LAFC real scary attacking with kind of a shit D? Also the broadcast camera is too close to the field and there's about a 20 yard stretch of the near sideline that it can't cover.

I'd be pretty shocked if there's not some sort of fineprint in the use of said technology that they're not legally responsible for situations like this.

Like, you'd think that their legal team would have to have been adamant about such language.

Is there any legal recourse to the mistakes of a conventional human ref?

If not, why would there be any legal recourse to a video ref's decisions?

I wish that to be the case!

However, why do I feel that the footballer who owns my heart, Olivier Giroud, will go and break it? *sigh*

So, as of yesterday, we are now Austin FC season ticket holders. We went in with my wife's brothers and one their friends, and are splitting 6 seats between the group of us.

We had originally planned on 3 seats just for ourselves and the kiddo, and now we have accepted the reality of not bringing a toddler to the games and only one of us going. :)

Thought brentford we’re dead in the water after losing the first leg. Good on them for making the final.

On one hand, it's not like Newcastle couldn't use the money
But on the other, much larger and more important hand, fuckin' MBS can go and fuck off.
