I'm confused. The plural of 'kraken' is 'kraken'. So it's both
I'm not sure the word actually has a pluaral because The Kraken is a specific individual monster. In either case, there doesn't seem to be an official pluralization of the word.
They way the artist split the tentacles of the S to look like they're gripping the anchor is *chef's kiss*
I'm so excited to watch this city turn fully into a hockey town, even if I'll still be rooting for Vancouver. Maybe they'll build some more rinks and I won't have to play all my rec league games at 10:45 pm
News teams normally are accompanied by an explosion in youth participation, so even with new rinks, there isn't really any more ice time
Yeah, I know. Wishful thinking. Aside from the sheets they're putting in at Northgate as part of the new team complex, it'll probably take a year or two before they start building any new rinks in the area anyway, and I'm in my 40s and am not sure how many years of league play I have left. I still do pretty well in div 7 (of 8) in the all-ages league, but I'd never survive a transition to the over-40 league. I'm not fit enough to take that much advantage of the older guys, and unlike me, all of them put on ice skates more than once before they turned 30, and it shows.
I, for one, am super stoked about a Seattle team. I've been hoping for one for many years, and the name is just amazing. I may even get a sweater, it's that freaking great

That's still so mind-boggling that we'd still have any hockey right now. Aside from being August, it just seems like a bad idea given the pandemic. Of course, if it happens, I actually may take a day or two off to watch a World Cup-esque hockey playoffs schedule.

OK. Haven't watched NHL in quite some time. Figured OK, I'll jump on the NHL TV package. I know I can't watch Flyers on there since that is my area. But right now I believe Toronto/Montreal are playing and it says it is blacked out for me. Is that right?

SN, TVAS, or NHL Network? I thought the first two are Canadian channels. In the app on my Firestick, it only mentions the first two, but I believe it is on the NHL Network as well. Kind of shitty that I wouldn't be able to watch because of that.
