No Jenny you were right, biology is about murdering the shit out of your animal of choice. Well, and grading assignments for a decade, or maybe even forever!

I wasn't expecting Jenny's spider video to go on a ten minute tangent about a Flintstones theme park but I'm glad it did.

The sort of thing where yeah, it takes you off guard the first time, but then you repeat to yourself "Jenny Nicholson went on a ten minute tangent about a Flinstones theme park" and you realize you probably should've seen it coming.

I would watch more of a Jenny Nicholson travel channel but she definitely states at the end there that's a one-off deal. Alas

I wish I lived in California, well not really I guess but driving through the desert like that looks way cooler than the East Coast's thing of highways being either buildings or just trees right next to you

most of california is also trees or buildings next to you, or farm fields
what you're looking for is the states just east of us

Or eastern side of the state where the desert also is. But generally if you're driving north/south you're on one of three freeways that are nowhere near said desert.

As someone who lives in the high desert, the coast ain't the only part of California.

I did say most! if you're in the south quarter there's deserts but above that you only hit deserts when you're heading down the east side of the sierras in arizona.

California is multitudes, and I feel like I've hardly scratched the surface of the place even after the >1100 mile roadtrip I did last year

that first thousand miles was just Long Beach to Sonoma Co. and back (up the 5, and then back down 101 and the PCH), too, so like, basically just the west side of the middle chunk of the state, plus some high desert right after the big loop

my favoritest spot I've yet seen in CA is the mountainous piney bit right between Duncan Mills and Sevastopol along the Russian River, but dang would I have to be making some decent money to sustain living there

Apparently they just started tearing down the Brooklyn Banks like a month ago. It's weird because skate spots are the only type of sports landmarks that just go away with no regard for their legacy or function. Every football field is built to the same regulation but when an old unused stadium is torn down it's usually because they built a new one and it's treated like the burning of Library of Alexandria. Meanwhile a ton of iconic skate spots have been destroyed despite being in-use by the general public with little to no fanfare. LOVE Park, The Carlsbad gap, Hubba Hideout, Embarcadero, basically half the maps in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater no longer exist.

“Revenge is a dish best served cold, Jack. Like sashimi. Or lunchables.”
    “You prefer cold Lunchables?”
“The morning after? It’s the best.”
“Better than hot Lunchables? That’s insane.”
“You don’t tell me what kind of lunchables to like!”

I mean, you can make a sandwich and bring it to school

Based on the type of sandwich, it might be soggy by the time lunch rolls around. That is, unless you keep it in its component parts and construct it right before eating.

But the Edgeworth voice has the right of it, all lunchables are meant to be eaten cold. Some have microwave directions, but they're optional. I didn't have access to a microwave at any public school I went to.

I always had the pizzas cold, but I'm like the Edgeworth in that conversation. In that my school lunchroom didn't have microwaves usable for the students and I'd never even consider eating a Lunchable when I wasn't on the go.

I agree with the thesis (you eat those dang lunchables cold) but not the conclusion (because lunchables should only ever be eaten at school because anywhere else gives you better access to "good" food)

My school did not have a microwave but I have a microwave at home and if a lunchable ended up in my fridge you can bet I would still eat it cold

I mean, they're Lunchables. They're cold, you eat them cold when you bring them wherever it is you're going. My school didn't have a microwave in elementary and neither did the mountain trails.

My favorite type of lunchable was ironically enough the cold pizza. Because it had the dessert pizza with chocolate paste plus M&M's.
