Started and caught up on The Owl House, I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
Look forward to seeing more of it, if it builds up well it might become one of my favorites. But even if it just maintains itself it'll be worth continuing.
Randomly remembered that I ought to catch up on Wakfu, but I found that the English wasn't doing it for me. And I can't comfortably keep up with subtitles (especially since I don't understand a single word of French, compared to JP) while multitasking with my current abomination of a monitor setup, and ADHD means just sitting and watching shows without doing anything else is never a real option.
Sounds like I should be checking out Infinity Train and Amphibia, next.
I can see it going places if it gets another season or two. I doubt it will though
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.

Absolutely. It's genuinely a witty show, but it's real claim to fame is how almost every episode has a musical number. And they're all bangers. One could just post video after video after video of them, they're all amazing.
HBO MAX has renewed for Close Enough for a second season. At this time, we are still learning of additional details for the pickup and will update our report when we get those.
I was 90% certain it wouldn't but I'm thrilled to be proven wrong.

Close enough took a while to really hit its stride in season one so I am excited for season two

Reviews seem to be mixed so far, but the consensus is there's less actual jokes and more unaltered references to Star Trek stuff.

Hazbin Hotel was picked up by A24 as their first animation project, so that is going to be a thing that will be discussed maturely and with discipline across the internet.
In unrelated news Rise of the TMNT is still cooler and nicer-looking than most things I can think of right now holy shit.

I just looked up A24, the people who picked up Hazbin Hotel.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND "MIDSOMMAR" AND "THE LIGHTHOUSE" ARE MAKING HAZBIN HOTEL???"

A24 has been real good at picking whatever the film equivalent of bangers are.

I watched a Rise music video on YouTube and the cuts this person strung together of the combat blew my fucking mind.
The choreography and animation in that show is just goddamn bonkers.
Does anyone know if Rise of the TMNT is over now? I'm seeing that it was picked up for a second season of 26 episodes and only 13 have been released, but the latest one is titled "Finale Part 4: Rise".
EDIT: Oh, wait. Each episode is in two parts, so if they counted it that way it would be 26. The clips I've seen from the most recent episode look very much like something that would be in a series finale, too.
EDIT 2: Apparently there's going to be a Netflix original RotTMNT movie, so if the show itself is over there's still that to look forward to!

Well he didnt even want to be in the actual movie so
Why even bother having a Jurassic Park show where you know nobody will get eaten? The whole damn point of the premise is dinosaurs eating people.

God damn I loved that show.. The creators never did another animated show together, did they?
They did a short lived MTV show called DJ & The Fro

All of the characters have an odd quirk about them. That's the show's thing.

That version is better because it doesn't cut the final joke that really sold me on the show.
"...We just got served."
It is but theres a lot of epiaodes towards the end Id skip. Im sure there's a watch guide somehwere
It makes a very good "while playing video games" show.
That's the fourth new animated thing from CBSViacom, including Beavis and Butthead, Clone High, and Jodie (a spinoff of Daria).
Fucking Bane kills me every time.
I'm upset by this.
let John K's legacy die in obscurity please.

There hasn't been good Ren & Stimpy since season 1, and I feel gross watching that now.
Thats absolutely not true and most of the best stuff is well after John K was ousted
