I think I'm going to skip uhhhhh Darby the Player and Vanilla Ice and just watch the final arc
My investment in this is running out pretty quick
I want to check out Diamond is Unbreakable but if it doesn't grab me within a few episodes I think it's a wrap on JoJo for me
Do what you wanna do, but for what it's worth Darby the Player is some of the best stuff in SDC
The Vanilla Ice fight is also really good, and I think goes a long way toward making Iggy and Polnareff more likeable, but if I was gonna push you to only watch one it'd be the Darby eps
All I knew about this going in was that the main character was Dio's son and his goal was to become a Gang-Star which the dub changes to Primo Mafioso which is way less cool.

There’s a pretty gnarly dog death in the beginning of the second episode of Diamond is Unbreakable. It’s at the 2 min 30 second mark and it’s heavily telegraphed so you have time to pause it and skip forward to 2 mins 55 seconds and avoid it without missing any story. After that you’re pretty much clear with two sort-of-exceptions (mild spoilers, but if you wish to be prepared):
A dog is wounded but is instantly healed, and lives. Episode 10.
There’s a ghost dog who’s already dead, but you do see his wound (which makes it obvious how he died). Episode 13

Did Not Place: everyone else, holy shit I've rarely seen a show with villains I gave less of a shit about, I turn my face from them
Part 3 really does kinda feel like way too many villains in comparison to Part 2, which had, like, 5 total? A few more if you count those 1-offs who got taken out in a page each.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Part 4 has its share of episodes to skip too, though, mainly for being inconsequential to the whole plot.
Janken kid, Pylon tower guy, the Cee-lo episode with Rohan.
Yes that last one establishes the alien character, but for all the power that guy has, he doesn't do much to affect anything in solving the Kira problem.

ok those are "skippable" in the sense that they don't advance the main plot but at least two of them fuckin' rule
Superfly is the weakest of the three but it's still fun, and also it's intermingled with the other stand battles going on throughout town that day, so skipping it would mean skipping the set up for the next couple episodes

Also,
the absolute insanity of Rohan stabbing himself and letting his house burn down just to show how much he’s not fucking around with Josuke cheating is hilarious and shouldn’t be missed.
