Movie character DLC Confirmed. Just wait a few months, and you will see it pop up and each one will be $5.99 or but the bundle for $30. Then they will have different outfits from all the movies again $5 each. He you want Skinny Steve rogers or Old man Steve rogers? Or do you want Hulk buster armor, sexy dress Black Widow, Ronan Hawkeye, Iron Spiderman, or maybe Fat Thor?

I'm reminded of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon where they got a voice actor for Stark that sounded an awful lot like RDJ at first but then eventually you pieced together that it totally wasn't RDJ at all.

So you're saying there wasn't a Stark contrast.

It's like watching the porn parody versions of the MCU characters/actors.

I love Spider-Man's pose there, clearly as uncomfortable as we are with whatever is going on with Batman's head

Sorry we chose coked up RDJ. Please pay a 3.99 DLC to put him through the rehab lootbox to see if it takes.

It would have been amazing if the characters had the appearance and voices of the MCU actors and actresses, but I understand that would be a tall (and probably expensive) order. I read Marvel Comics in the pre-MCU days, so I remember that your favorite characters didn't always look exactly the same since they were drawn by many different artists over the years. However, there's just something about the characters in this game that makes you look at them and instantly think, "That's not Captain America" or "That's not Tony Stark." I couldn't even pinpoint exactly what is wrong on some of them, but they are most definitely a little off.

They refer to that as the Uncanny X-Men Valley.

I think I figured it out. When you look at some of them, they don't look like the people you would expect to be the superhero. They look like the ones who would be wearing hockey pads. ;)

I don't know why "Kroger's Avenger's" is so funny, but it is.

It's all part of my self-insert fanfic reimagining of The Punisher.

they obviously tried to get close to the actors' likeness but couldn't, for rendering and/or licensing reasons

which is actually way worse than just designing them more or less fresh, because now every time you see them you're reminded that they aren't quite the film characters

there's been a million film/videogame versions of spider-man and it's mostly fine because they're not all trying to look like a particular actor

Well, Spiderman is also mostly in a mask and his costume hasn't changed much at all since the character started. Arkham Asylum had a little hurdle having to make a costume that wasn't just like TDK, but they did a decent job of finding a halfway point between TDK and the Animated Series (they did that with pretty much everything about the game, actually).

But Spiderman, Batman, and Superman existed in the collective consciousness before Tobey, Bale, and Dean Cain (the one true Superman). For most of the Avengers, most people were barely aware of them before the current cinematic universe, and that universe is such a perfect adaption if those characters that those actors have supplanted the comics. RDJ *is* Iron Man.

Batman: TAS is my Batman and very much his rogue's gallery reference point. Same with the Justice League and that show.

Spiderman is probably the first live action movie with Tobey(?).
