Due to it's connections to The Runaways, I bring you what appears to be the cover for The Loners' first issue, shown in this week's Joe Fridays at Newsarama.
I liked parts of Marvel Mangaverse, particularly the Skottie Young art. The first iteration was a fun diversion. I wasn't so attached to the concept that I saw anything that followed as a travesty, though.
I just picked up a giant compilation of the first 18 issues, and I'm loving the series. The art, characters and writing have all astounded me, and I've only read the first third or so of it.

Kind of stupid too if he actually plans on sacrificing Nico since eliminating her from existence would significantly alter the history of the Runaways, possibly even making it so Alex wins.
He'd be better off icing a nun or something.
So either it's a terrible decision, it's obvious that he's going to try to con the Gibborim, or that's not really Chase.

Well, since Gert [spoiler:81282db8db] is already dead[/spoiler:81282db8db] Future Gert's warning probably isn't valid anyways.

Frankly, I think the staff of one might be more powerful than that. Nico just needs to learn how to use it. Notice that certain phrases also are spells.

However, keep in mind that it's not a matter of knowing more words. Similar ideas count as the same spell.
One of the things that most irritated me with the YA/Runaways crossover is that Wells blatantly used the VERY FIRST SPELL Nico used again.

Not the original, which to was my understanding just a parody of anime cliche ever.
The new one. I pretty much got it for the art but goddamn the story was horrible on every possible level.
