if there's one thing i'm absolutely certain, it's that games that have a solo option that just fills up with bots are absolutely miserable solo experiences
the bots in the Avengers demo are mostly fine until you get to like, an objective. it'd be better if you could switch on the fly, I think, or at least press a button and make them stay in place or something
who knows what the actual gameplay in suicide squad is going to be, like...if it gets more complex than "shoot these guys," it's gonna be a real fucking drag to play solo, and I don't have a whole lot of faith in rocksteady to write the sort of necessary combat dialogue for all of those characters in a way that isn't incredibly grating

The only objective in the Avengers beta that was even a little frustrating with bots was opening the vault in the hidden mission, honestly
Mostly it's just Destiny style "Wait here and kill three waves of enemies" shit
Also: putting out that trailer for the Suicide Squad game after they had that intro trailer for the Suicide Squad movie did the game trailer absolutely zero favors in the character/costume design department.

So that Gollum game. Am I wrong in thinking its graphics are worse than an almost 20 year old movie?
Probably! It's also by a developer who has historically made point and click adventure games with maybe several dozen people, so this is also the most technically demanding game they ever made!

This is the thing that always gets me as someone who pre-orders basically everything.
Why the hell are people actually putting money towards pre-orders?
I guess for the people doing digital pre-orders they have to, but there you don't need to do so until the day before basically to start your DL and get your special things.
But for physical things you don't get charged until the item ships at any normal location. And as this is a system it's only a physical item.. so.. bwuh?
