I really wish we had received an optimistic Superman film with Henry Cavill.

But we also got a movie where Batman hits Superman in the head with a bathroom sink.

    So, ya know, I'm conflicted.

I heard a rumour they tried, but every time they tried filming it the script and cameras caught fire from the sheer amount of raw sexual heat those two put off.

ok, I was all set to catch up on my Ghibli since it's finally on HBO Max and I've only seen a couple a long time ago, so I fire up My Neighbor Totoro. I turn on captions, but it turns out it started playing in English. I usually prefer subs to dubs with Japanese movies, so I pick the Japanese audio option, and for some reason that disables captions! wtf.

on the iOS app, btw. I should see if it also happens on PS4. Also HBO and Roku should get their shit together and give me a damn app.

The Burning hits a bit different once you know how hands on Weinstein was, but it does have maybe the best set piece of any slasher.

I've watched a few lately - Maniac Cop, Re-Animator and Night of the Creeps were streamed for friends in the last 2 weeks. I think I'll stick to other genres for a little while though so I have more options when I try to do a horror movie each day in October.

    There's a Fright Night 2?

edit: Huh, there's two Fright Night 2s, one for the original and the redo. I guess I shouldn't be surprised given horror movies, but those never surfaced for me.

This looks cute but Cavill my god man stop being so handsome already

Hmm, a bit of a different take on the character than that all time classic episode of BBC Sherlock, but perhaps this will work.
Iz jokes, that episode was like the whole last season of Game of Thrones stupid, but all at once.

Saw Ed Begley Jr come up in the credits.

Please tell me we get an awkward Ed Begley Jr sexy scene

John Larroquette? Ray Wise? Frankie Faison?

Cat People was a big budget remake of a classic film

Of course it has a weird cast of future character actors

I didn’t realize it was a bigger budget movie. Should have known when I saw Bruckheimer as EP.

It wasn't a huge budget, but it was comparable to like, Poltergeist or Star Trek II (both released the same year) it looks like
