Maslany I can see doing both aspects of the character, I just don't know where their commitment to the actual She-Hulk will be in terms of budget. I get that she's only 5'4" and in Hollywood that makes her 6'2", Shulkie is always 7' and I don't see the look succeeding without CGI mocap. It's why I thought they would just go with Elizabeth Debicki.
You recognize these same constraints are applied to Mark Ruffalo? And that nobody seems to really care?
Because Ruffalo Hulk was and is always CGI. Is Shulk gonna be CGI? If not, actor size matters.
Yes, I presume & expect She-Hulk to be a CGI performance (or at least visually composed via CGI & a second body actress).
I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting the show to dip its feet into psychological horror... but it seems kind of obvious now.
What were you expecting it to be?
I'm probably in the minority is that I came by the MCU via the comics, so this particular subject for these two characters are a matter of history. I'm not surprised and hope they stick the storyline all the way through and not chicken out on certain parts of it.

Honestly? Endgame hasn't been really followed up on since it came out (thanks COVID) so we don't know what Wanda's up to. And Vision is dead. So I had no idea what to expect. Like, absolutely zero.
Given WandaVision is looking as good as the movies in terms of budget, I expect She Hulk to have that level of CGI
Given that they can do so much with mocap tech now and studios have finally accepted that giving a TV series a movie budget can absolutely be worth it, yeah, I'm not worried about She-Hulk. I fully expect it will be as good as the Professor Hulk mocap work and the actress's work will totally shine through.

Ya the more I watch the trailer and think about house of m, I'm really excited about it. I thought it was gonna be this sappy happy show, but it looks like a mindfuck.

So what's the deal with Black Widow? We ever going to see it or is this a "wait till the pandemic ends" type thing for the blockbusters?

Wouldn't surprise me if Disney wants to see how Mulan does. Or there may be a contractual obligation to release in theaters first (like happened with New Mutants), which means we won't see it for a while.
That WandaVision trailer was so good it's actually renewed my interest in Phase 4. I was kind of checked out after the highs of the double punch from Endgame and Far From Home and was super not feeling Black Widow.

I have no authority on she-hulk, I've only read like one of her comics.
But "young female lawyer moves to the big city to start her own practice and also she's the hulk" is just such a good elevator pitch I'd be bummed if they try to change it up too much.
Like just give me the practice / ally mcbeal, but with Superheroes. There is no way that wouldn't be entertaining

The problem is that in the comics now, she's actually the Hulk (for a variety of dumb reasons we don't want to get into), whereas traditionally, she was large, green, strong, but also extremely smart, witty and her comics were funny. She was doing the 4th wall breaking stuff before Deadpool ever existed. She was great. Now, not so much.
So the question is whether she will actually be She-Hulk (which most of us assume), or Hulk But a Girl.

I'm not sure how relevant the current comic arcs/status are to the MCU version of the character? Also, there's no rule that says "only one comic book movie character can break the 4th wall at a time!"
How do you drop cable? When I ask Comcast to drop cable, they threaten to raise internet price by $50. Then they ask if I want to save money by getting 6 new landlines installed and calling it a "bundle".
When I got google Fiber, the sales guy was like "oh, hey do you also want TV?"
"lol who watches TV, no thanks"
"I know right? Had to ask."
$70/mo for gigabit up and down. They even prorate refunds to my bill if the service drops.

The point is that if they use that version of the character it would be not good. Also, I agree that you can have more than one light comedic character. She Hulk was always at her best irreverent of the actual comic she was in.

If Marvel was smart they would use Shulkie's MVC3 theme as her TV show theme, it's still classy nine years later and up there with Ken and Guile's themes. Maybe it will make up for MVCI stinking:

Most places don't have that option, unfortunately.
We actually get a decent package on everything, all things considered, because I basically have one of the "everything" bundle packs, but instead of phone lines (which we would never use), we get a home security system. So yeah, we pay more than just Internet, but it's Internet+TV+alarm system, and since we have the TV, we use it.
There’s a lot of potential for tragedy in WandaVision, with Vision coming to realise that he is not real. Perhaps they should bring in Charlie Kaufman...

Vision started as an AI, who is to say this wouldn't be an "ok" thing for him?
Maybe, but Bruce said in Infinity War that Vision isn’t just the sum of his parts and Jarvis was just one piece of his personality. Vision is synthetic, but he’s still a person and it’d be perfectly natural for him to be horrified to find out that he’s “dead” and Wanda has created a false reality instead of moving on.

I'm pretty curious what those two untitled films were supposed to be. Otherwise, I'm not surprised.

I’m sure the Disney one was another marvel, like Thor or GOTG3
Who knows about the Fox one. All we can say is it’s definitely not a Disney property.

I just noticed something in the Wandavision trailer.
The wine bottle, which I thought had a Mephisto reference, instead says Maison de Mepris
Or House of Contempt
Or House of M

It ends with Wanda saying "more mutants" and bam, X-men are in the MCU.
("What's a mutant?" Don't ask questions, just accept it!)

I think he’s been in every movie Downy Jr has been in, sans Endgame.

My guess is that Black Widow comes out no later then Memorial Day, theatres only, as a sort of relaunching of the MCU.
Will probably see it available on demand/on D+ right before whatever the summer release is slated to be.
Come Overwatch with meeeee
