Edit: Can I just clarify that? There’s what amounts to a bag on the displacer beast’s head and a giant kin just bashed its head in with a club.

The boneless thing tightly wraps itself around Baber’s head, squeezing his helm, attempting it crush and suffocate the Calipdis hero!
Baber
You take 3 piercing damage! You will take damage at the start of your turn until you make a successful Strength saving throw against it! That’s DC 16!
Should 5 rounds pass without it being removed, you’ll pass out.

You step back, and watch the thing spill out like a length of living leather! It spins, looking to kill something, anything, then it jumps into the air!
Due to the unfortunate timing of my job in the military I’m going to have to leave you for the foreseeable future.
My plan for this dungeon was a parallel universe theme, where you’d interact with each other in interesting ways and solve puzzles using what is and isn’t present in a given universe.
It was going to be combat heavy, ending in a fight against basically Mother Brain with hundreds of flying monsters.
Yeah, let me be clear Endless - I love your setting, i love playing Gear, i love bouncing off Hado and baber, i love seeing your crazy world, i love the magic items i've gotten and how they've really helped make Gear feel like my own very personal character.
Not to mention live out the artificer fantasty.

They’re knocked out for some time, but alive. You can kill them without rolling if you choose, one or both.
Next, the other thing above Hado drops! Make a Dexterity saving throw!

The remaining thing that attempted to capture Gear now flings itself at Baber!
Baber! Dodge with a Dex save!
“Fancy a heal matey?”, Luce smiles.
Together they press their hands onto Gear’s shoulders. Then they point their blades at the thing and get ready.
Gear gains 12 HP. Nice.

Hado isn't bloodthirsty at the moment. He'll leave the beast and the living cloak knocked out on the floor.
