What You Can Talk About:
- Any national or local 2020 US election.
- The impact of the conventions that just happened.
- The policy platforms of candidates AS THEY PERTAIN TO THE ELECTIONS. "Biden plans to roll out a public option" is okay. "A public option is awesome because of X,Y, and Z" is not.
- Polls related to the election.
- Voting outreach efforts
- Other things that directly pertain to the 2020 election and have not been explicitly banned.
What You Can't Talk About:
- The 2020 primaries that have already occurred. Upcoming 2020 primaries, if there are any left, are okay.
- Bernie Sanders
- 20-motherfucking-16
- Hillary Fucking Clinton
- Policy in general. This is not the place to discuss health care or taxes or policing in general. We have threads for all those things! If not, feel free to make one!
- Who you plan to personally vote for. Nothing good has ever come from a conversation in these threads about why you're definitely voting for Biden / voting third party / not voting. Just rest assured that your personal reasons for voting are the best in the whole world and everyone agrees with you and thinks you're smart and good looking. Masterfully done, you.

Since then, taxation, death of Ginsberg, hypocrisy over SCOTUS appointment, Senate admission of Russian interference, the worst fucking debate (including Trump not condemning white nationalists), and Trump catching covid along with seemingly everyone in his orbit.
I agree wit Henroid. It's been a busy decade.
I don't think I'm alone in that the stress of the current administration and cavalcade of fuck-ups is making it hard to focus on anything.
I should just take election day off because fuck if I'm going to get anything productive done.
I literally sat down in September and said "Alright. My self-improvement goal for October is to work on my personal focus during the day." and October immediately said "Sick bro let's make you work for it"
-Trump's shit debate
-Trump unable to condemn white supremacist scum straight away and telling those pieces of shit to stand back and stand by.
-Trump apparently getting covid before the debate and then intentionally being late so he could bypass the test.
-The shit show was his hospital stay, which may only be the first one for covid related stuff.
-Finding out that the WH has more covid cases than several countries combined.
-Trump and McConnell telling the nation to fuck off on expecting more covid relief.
-Trump pulling advertising out of several midwest states he needs to win.
Like this shit is unfolding crazy fucking fast. I'm hoping we see a blue tsunami that massacres the GOP. I want these fuckers to get a thorough rebuke. I have to feel the ditching covid relief in an attempt to stack the court is really going to backfire on them both in costing the GOP even more races and given the democrats full license to stack the court.
Also I mention in the last thread, given that Trump has his hands on the GOP campaign funds. That we should keep an eye on whether or not he starts pulling ad buys in every state. If he is going to rob them blind before he loses the election, the first thing to do would be to stop spending money on campaign stuff, so that there is more to siphon off. Also the curious to see how him pulling ads from those states ends up hurting republicans down ticket.
Anyways, October is shaping up to be fucking crazy for the election and we still have another 27 days before polls close, if I'm doing my math right.
