this is interesting, but i'm unsure about any metric that puts jinx into the same bucket as lucian draven and kalista.
jinx is much more farm the map than lane brawler with her literally instant clear of any waves after 2 items and ridiculous aspd steroid letting her kill any tower if you walk away for 10 seconds. her early teamfighting is ok but i wouldn't say it's a strength and heavily reliant on the support.
They actually addressed this in a comment! I'm reproducing it:
"Jinx is similar to the Lane Bullies in objective control/damage, where 'Hyper Carries' like Vayne and Cassiopeia are very slow to take their first turret.. lane bullies + Jinx shred through them."
In this case, I suppose it's a combination of "better bully than people realize" + "ends laning phase earlier," as their "lane bullies" bucket includes ADCs who want the game to end early. There are some more "fringe" candidates in the different categories, but there is actual data to back up the groupings underneath the hood, so to speak.
(I am not a stats person by any means, but it sounds like they know what they're talking about.)
I mean also this is what, a webscrape of a number of games and then clustering along multiple variables including dmg before 15 min, towers taken, cs lead of team at 15 min, shit like that?
They are saying it's more or less statistically true that Jinx shares similar values along these variables as some other champions, then giving it a cute name.
(...this seems like a cute little project and not hard! If I were in the 'I need a portfolio' stage of my career I'd totally copy them and write it up)
Ooh also I played a lovely Jinx game. My team picked Shen, Soraka, Ivern, and Diana, and I was like 'well, this is the universe telling me to play an immobile hypercarry cause I will be lousy with shields', so I did and I was!
...but tbh actually got entirely carried by Diana who had ~25 kills. Still though, I got to free auto with 4 items and a million shields and it felt great

Making a (likely futile) last ditch effort at Plat after being hardstuck in mid Gold all season. I have been doing much better since I've accepted that I can't handle all the Teemo tops that run ignite and just ban the fucker every game.
Thought this play was pretty cool so I saved it. Currently at 50 lp G2 so I probably need to break into G1 by the end of the weekend to have any realistic shot.

so in my promos I won one; had one good performance but my mid permanently dc'ed lvl 5 and although I was ahead and jg was ahead, supp naut was an inter and top cho was 0/6 so the 4v5 was not gonna happen; had a third game where my yi jg started out 0/5, supp flamed me and played with really weird positioning and all lanes lost
...let's see if I can get back into promos tonight

Okay, I'm loving Sera. Have only gotten a chance to run her as support, but goddamn is that ult a thing. Was able to pull a enemy team out from under a inhib tower to get utterly murdered.
Fun fact: Exhaust counts as a slow to enable the E root.

I'm not sure you'd want to go ap even if you're popping off. Aftershock makes you tanky, but you're still going to be asked to initiate most the time I'm guessing and still ward on your own. If I was brand, zyra, etc... I'd be sure to go ap. But I'm not sure if that's right on galio.
An NA team would have just mental boomed, gone "Next", and rolled over after that awful Infernal Soul fight, but not Suning, man. They clawed right back in the game. We are NOT getting anywhere as a region until we get on that level of just sheer guts.

It's a mixture. There's no world in which Illaoi is top 6, probably not even top 30. Yasuo and Ahri are definitely there because they're popular. Pyke is there because he fits the story of "Bilgewater dealing with the Shadow Isles" given y'know, his whole deal. I don't think Braum is hugely popular, but Riot likes him.

def, but abathur has a body that you can target, and has explicit bonuses to switching targets throughout the fight as it resets his hat CDs.
and also he doesn't have an instant 50% hp heal lol, had a shield, and over time sustain healing with a talent iirc. i mean obviously you know, but if you play abathur by sitting on someone for 10 minutes at a time while facerolling your hat cooldowns you're probably losing in all but the most specific circumstances. If you play yuumi by being permanantly stuck to your hypermobile melee champion as they dive in and out of the other team while you hold the E button down, you're winning the game.

Yeah I went 0-3 with 3 abysmal teams that I could not save.
