Aww I had a good OP idea

A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

Step one is obtaining a cello, obviously

@Hi I'm Vee! hah that's exactly why Malzahar annoys me--he goes down or even in cs and he just doesn't do anything at all except the one time that you get ganked and then boom free kill, and it's just ugh annoying! Cause it feels like he can play to not lose and still do totally fine.

Yeah certainly playing Morg mid I will max W for the CHAOS POOL, and build AP, but I feel like if you are playing Morg support with the goal of maxing damage instead of utility, there are other supports who do that better (more damage for less mana). (But obviously I do understand being comfortable on a champ and wanting to play that champ).

Sigh I don't think I'm going to get to plat this season but I will try!

My friend who is starting league at the age of 40 (lol) just asked me if support is the easiest role and do too many people play it or two few and I wrote him like, two pages on the history of playing support and the current state of support and the parts that are easy and hard. I do think that new players need to learn to cs/should not just only play support, or they'll never learn the game. It's fine if you support later.

I'm getting back into sometimes watching anime. I'm also back into thinking this is cool, but they don't need the creepy bits.

A couple days too late on this, but I usually like to link the classic PBS cartoon of Danse Macabre that many millions of us watched in grade school music class in the 80s. It's good shit and always set the tone perfectly for a spooky Halloween, or just autumn in general, if you were a kid with morbid tendencies.

Idk you can pretend it's about covid and the election or something

    https://youtu.be/9CHqhsMP80E
Traditionally, a violin is tuned to an A4 and an Eb5 (a tritone) instead of an A4 and E5 (perfect 5th) on the top two strings to play the opening notes of this. There's a different harsh tone that you get from a violin when playing open strings (as opposed to playing the notes by holding down the strings with your fingers), and whoever plays the solo part has the unenviable task of playing the whole thing on an out of tune violin. Although most people I knew (myself included) basically just played the whole thing on the D and A strings to avoid this.

Can you tell if the one in the video is tuned the expected way? I was a woodwind player so this shit is all voodoo to me.

Pfft you can alt-tune a woodwind

    You just need a dremel

Also no takebacks on the alt-tune

We need to stop looking towards Marcus Aurelius when it comes to day-by-day philosophy

    Montaigne is also mega sus

I would like a blue-collar quotidian philosopher who wasn't also addicted to uppers

    Dare I say Bill Watterson?

Someone said Halloween starts on the 31st and that's what I'm going with

Cause we're gonna play more of that Little Hope game tonight on stream, maybe more tomorrow depending on if we beat it or if we're all screaming for other reasons

and then I got that new Amnesia game that waffles is making me play alone which, fair.

And now to play some FFXIV and then nap before stream time

    [chat], I'm mad

I was biking after work and was on a two way bike lane. These 3 guys were walking in the opposite direction coming towards me taking up both lanes. So I slowed down to make sure they saw me and could move over, and as I got closer, they still weren't moving so I said excuse me. And they still didn't move so I edged over as far as I could (couldn't go into the street cause it was a protected bike lane) and as I was passing the one guy said "yeah, I ain't moving, you're moving."

And that just made me so mad and it bummed me out for the rest of my ride home.

people do shit like that because they have problems of their own, self-inflicted or otherwise, and they try to exercise some modicum of control over their life by the only way they know how: by shitting on others to make themselves feel better.

I still get mad at folks like this, but I don't let them live rent free in my head for long. I just usually steam for a few seconds, then think "that used to be me" and I feel better
