Is that enough time for opening talks? Here's a reminder of what's at stake:
Colonial Redistribution (Directive) Elect Non-Home Planet Other Than Mecatol Rex: Destroy each unit on the elected planet. Then, the player who controls that planet chooses 1 player with the fewest victory points; that player may place 1 infantry from his reinforcements on the elected planet.
Voting Order The Winnu (discrider): Up to 14 votes Universities of Jol-Nar (Ketar): Up to 6 votes The Ghosts of Creuss (A Half Eaten Oreo): Up to 5 votes Nekro Virus (Phyphor): Cannot vote due to Galactic Threat Federation of Sol (MrBody): Up to 17 votes The Naalu Collective (38thDoe): Up to 11 votes; Speaker
I assume I'm voting for one of Phyphor's planets so that MrBody doesn't do the same to one of ours and prevent us from taking MR from him.
Pretty annoyed I stuffed up and landed my infantry so I have to waste my votes like this but whatever.
Still need someone to take Sol so that MrBody doesn't win.
Yeah, no.
If you think you can take out MrBody without my help then go ahead.
There absolutely is no point conserving the Naalu's votes either.
Really the only thing we'd consider offering is our Political Secret when the Jol Nar is eliminated.
We aren't in a position to offer any TG whatsoever.
Although, really, 1 TG is an insult for sparing Sol's space dock; at -least- force them higher before selling out.
Meh. I take Construction and either plop a 2nd dock in the system or I plop it in Jord. Six of one half dozen of the other at this point since I'm not going to bother considering strikes to Mecatol anymore.
Not sure what's going on. Main forum link goes to the holiday hangout, but I can visit the Critical Hit forum just fine with direct links and bookmarks. All bookmarks and post history links to the video game forum have disappeared though.
Hey, we're back from the end-of-year break. Here's our progress on the first Agenda of the round:
Colonial Redistribution (Directive) Elect Non-Home Planet Other Than Mecatol Rex: Destroy each unit on the elected planet. Then, the player who controls that planet chooses 1 player with the fewest victory points; that player may place 1 infantry from his reinforcements on the elected planet.
Voting Order The Winnu (discrider): 14 votes - Coorneeq Universities of Jol-Nar (Ketar): Abstain The Ghosts of Creuss (A Half Eaten Oreo): Abstain Nekro Virus (Phyphor): Cannot vote due to Galactic Threat Federation of Sol (MrBody): 15 votes - Meer The Naalu Collective (38thDoe): Up to 11 votes; Speaker
So the pivot is on the speaker, @38thDoe. The Naalu have an offer from Sol to abstain for 1 TG which can be accepted or counter-offered, or they can ignore the offer and vote a different way.

Sorry for the delay things have been pretty crazy.
Vote Outcome
15 votes Meer (Sol)
14 votes Coorneeq (Winnu)
4 Winnu Infantry on Meer are destroyed; @Phyphor may elect to place 1 Infantry on the planet and take control.
In the meantime, I see no reason not to go on with the second agenda for the Agenda Phase.
Wormhole Reconstruction (Law) For: All systems that contain either an alpha or beta wormhole are adjacent to each other. Against: Each player places a command token from his reinforcements in each system that contains a wormhole and 1 or more of his ships.
Voting Order The Winnu (discrider): 0 votes Universities of Jol-Nar (Ketar): Up to 6 votes The Ghosts of Creuss (A Half Eaten Oreo): Up to 5 votes Nekro Virus (Phyphor): Cannot vote due to Galactic Threat Federation of Sol (MrBody): Up to 2 votes The Naalu Collective (38thDoe): Up to 11 votes; Speaker
At least 24 hours will be allocated for discussion, deals, transactions, and Action Card declarations, unless all players collectively call for voting to start before then.
Votes have already been cast on the agenda, so I don't think I can accept that Galactic Threat prediction.
Yeah, nah, that's not how this timing works.
I abstain, @Ketar to revote.
Unless we want to rectify the timeline further and have 38th consider the un-redacted public information from November from MrBody before their first vote.
Which we don't.

@discrider to vote, whenever they're ready.

I am not long for this world, I really don't care what happens on these agendas.
Abstain
@A Half Eaten Oreo
nah
@Phyphor
@MrBody
@38thDoe
It's probably six votes that are needed.
And the next agenda is for/against all Alpha and beta wormholes are conjoined / all wormholes are activated.
1 TG to abstain!
Clearly Corneeq is unexhausted with Sol's remaining two votes on it

So 1 TG is a bargain for "meh" !
Good day, sir!
But CF has been spared
Everything comes back in a few days

Presumably @Phyphor has a pre-vote thing to complete.
Yeah, nah, that's not how this timing works.
