I go back and forth on just using his name, and potentially publicizing him in the process?, or some other descriptor. I'm not a fan of calling him a shaman though.

I went back and changed "shaman hat" in my descriptor of the image, to "Loyal Order of Water Buffalo hat".

I'm sure Fox will do their research and present their findings on John Sullivan accurately and responsibly.

    Heh

If they buy in to this (they will) at what point do the Q people become so paranoid that they no longer trust anyone in their organization. Is it an organization?

I mean, tell me that's not what it looks like. If you've ever watched The Flintstones, you know what I mean.

Just got into it with my parents again. They still refuse to accept that it was a coup attempt and I think you can extrapolate from there.

A lot of people are willing to be obtuse about the incitement thing, but if you didn't mention it I think the act of holding back the National Guard while people hunt down the Republican Vice President for execution is gonna be more difficult for people to dismiss, especially as more details come out. I mean, I'm sure a lot of people will do it. But it seems at least a little harder.

we got some rough shit ahead of us and it's not all gonna be directly caused by overt chuds

They've twisted the entire thing into: It wasn't a coup it was a peaceful protest, and libs are taking away all of their "freedoms". They refuse to engage with reality.

what really fuckin' sucks about all this is we were actually making a little bit of progress at convincing liberals (regular folks and politicians both) that some kind of police reform is necessary, and that's all gone now. abolishing or defunding wasn't happening anytime soon anyway, but now any given horrific city police department can use the chuds as a pretext for demanding yet more surplus military shit and even less oversight than they have now and the local governments will give them whatever they want, meanwhile the cops that take advantage of this shit largely agree with the chuds and their goals

    it sucks

Honestly I didn't see any progress being made on the issue of police, beyond the racism stuff becoming more clear. Even then, it's not making headlines that people want to do anything about it.

Right now we're just holding our breaths to get to Wednesday.

After that, the gloves come off, and I can start yelling at people to start fixing shit around this country.

granted it was a slow-to-the-point-of-uselessness type of progress, but at least for awhile there it wasn't unheard of to see news people saying maybe we need to do something about this, which is for shit now

boy I sure hope this $15 minimum wage with the same minimum for tipped work and disabled people that biden's proposing isn't a bunch of crap that will get ditched the moment it encounters any resistance, because that shit sounds downright progressive (even if the minimum wage should be $24 now to match what it was when it was introduced after inflation)

My assumption is the wage hike will be steps over too many years to be really meaningful, but maybe I'm wrong.

I got a bit more information about the Lindell meeting. It was a brief meeting, Trump sent him upstairs to the WH counsel's office to be escorted by an admin official sitting next to Lindell in the meeting. That official, according to another official, was Robert O'Brien. Once up there, he insisted on meeting with Cipollone. It got contentious, in part bc supposedly on the blacked-out part of his notes was something about how Cipollone should be fired. Lindell tells me that he was carrying the notes for an attorney he's been working with to prove the election was really won by Trump, wouldn't say who it was. Said some of it related to reports Trump is now unable to see because he doesn't have Twitter. Lindell insists the papers he was holding, which were photographed and visible, didn't reference "martial law." An administration official says they definitely referenced martial law. But an administration official says Trump wasn't really entertaining what Lindell was saying. Lindell also seemed frustrated he wasn't getting more of a hearing. O'Brien, to be clear, was not encouraging this, per administration officials. No one was. A second administration official said that O'Brien was called to the meeting after Lindell arrived, because advisers in search of someone who could steer Lindell away couldn't immediately reach Cipollone. Among the items on Lindell's list was replacing O'Brien. The national security adviser, seeking to end the conversation, said if there was evidence of what he was saying it should go to the White House counsel, and he steered Lindell upstairs to the counsel's office.

The other thought is Biden really do his Oath of office from his home like they once did and travel to the white house incognito.
As it would be far easier to secure a house/neighborhood and still play up the lockdown of D.C.
