I think there's a chance Waluigi is the final character in the pass because the developers know how to play to a crowd and because we've seen how many "rules" for entrants get broken.
But their picks so far have been interesting, so I'm up for whoever.
Everyone knows the reason Waluigi isn't playable in Smash is because Waluigi is a lover, not a fighter. That's why I predict Nintendo will instead release a Waluigi-starring erotic dating sim.

It’s a good joke, I’ll agree with that much. Wario started as evil Mario, but Waluigi is not really Luigi’s opposite, but just a guy Wario paid to play sports with him.
Waluigi clocks off, and that makes him kinda interesting.
There’s nothing else there though, so it does get annoying when everyone mentions him over anything else.
Having teenaged RPG leads is really cool until you stop being a teenager yourself. Do you remember being seventeen? You're a dumbass at seventeen! I wanna be saved by the guy who's twenty-seven. He's at least payed taxes. He knows how to do shit. He can drive.
I’m playing Banjo-Tooie and got to Grunty Industries. And I honestly am not sure how I’m meant to proceed. I’ve onlh found one way into the building so far; taking the train. But that sorta feels like an unintended way in, especially since it’s possible to make that option inaccessible if I save and quit with the train in the Grunty Industries station.

If I remember the suction boots (?) have a path that takes you up to an entrance to Grunty Industries

This is a twenty-year-old memory at best though
That’s the thing, though. I learned the suction boots power inside Grunty Industries, by taking the train.
I’m stubborn enough to keep looking around the building, because either there’s another way in, it really is possible to lock myself out with the train, or I’m wrong about how the train works.

Take the train in for the first trip, then the main door opens with a split up switch.

No need to reinvent the wheel! If it works, it works.

Come on, man, Waluigi is already kind of lame, why do you want to make the poor man lamer. Leave the dude be.
How dare you.
Or for armoured targets, a waluRPG.
Getting in Smash
The internet having a waluigi boner has never made any sense

Of Peach.
She’s already got the sports equipment to go on.
My enjoyment of Waluigi has a bit to do with the internet, but it's also genuine, not ironic doing a bit.
Nah nah,
Zero Suit Samus. Let's bring the rose whip from Strikers back.
Weird Mario, got it.
who will help waluigi raise his baby?
Dare I ask who the other parent is? Or can Waluigis reproduce asexually?
How about that Weird Mario from Mario Maker?
That fanart is probably out there.
