Not sure why Ole's sticking with Lindelof and Maguire for this game. He had the exact same lineup against City in the League Cup semi and their lapse cost us at least one goal in that match.
United with the better end of that one, already ahead in the table, stole a point on the road and were it not for Allison heroics would have had all 3.
Not sure when Liverpool is going to score a goal again at this rate.

We were pretty good defensively!

Salah just keeps getting absolutely pocketed by Luke Shaw.

Aww geez I only just remembered Liverpool and United have to play again Sunday. Fuck.
That's a Cup match so both teams might not be as scared to lose. And I think United will really go for it. They were smelling blood by the end of that match.
edit - Also, Amad Diallo might play! Excited for that if nothing else.

Ooooh, Bayern München kicked out of the cup by second division Holstein Kiel. Neuer didn't stop a single penalty
C
not only that but Kiel equalised in the 93rd minute!
watched the highlights there and honestly i don't think i've ever seen a better set of penalties
every one of them just really well struck
even the one that was saved was a good penalty
the league cups continue to be interesting this season. This time Copa del Rey. Madrid out against a third division team. winning goal in the 115th minute.

Meanwhile, downunder, tonight's match between Western United and Perth went into the half-time break with Western leading 1-0.
This modest and unassuming scoreline belied the second half, which featured eight goals between the 55th and 83rd minute, with the lead changing 3 times and the teams drawing level at 1, 2, 3, and 4 goals apiece during the match, before Western United nabbed the last goal of the game to take the full 3 points for the match.

Helluva game, this football thing.
If they had drawn Liverpool that 1-0 lead probably would have held.
