Science is pretty badass.

The Large Hadron Collider? Badass.

Makin' pluripotent stem cells from adult skin cells? Badass.

Controlling a robot with your brain? Pretty wicked, son

I did some science a few weeks ago. It was kind of alright.

Who else thinks science is badass?

Or does it totally suck?

Ah the double slit experiment, this guy seems to favour the copenhagen interpretation which i was taught (that the observer causes the collapse into one way for the electron to behave), what is now gaining popularity and i've only done a tiny but of reading on (and i think i prefer) is the many worlds interpretation which is basically that the electron does go through both slits but basically the universe (yes the whole universe) splits so that both events can occur in different universes, thus there are an infinite number of universes and whenever you do anything every other possible reality exists in a different universe.

Science gave way to the wheel.

The wheel gave way to the donut.

The donut gave me a soft and sugary hole to stick my penis into on lonely Friday nights when I really need to look in the mirror and cheer myself up.

One night I was sitting in my living room, entertaining a guest.

    The guest was named Science.

I said to Science, "Science, make me laugh. I need to laugh and you are the person for the job."

Science thought for a moment, and Science said, "Trannies."

"Science," I said, "I said make me laugh, not horny. Those are two different things, and I expected you to know that."

"Yes, you did expect me to know that, and I did know that, which is why I told you something that would make you horny. The fact that I would make you horny instead of make you laugh is funny in itself," Science replied.

I used to have a science teacher who would say "So this solar panel crap is kind of boring don't you think?"

My highschool chemistry teacher was some kind of idiot. One time he showed us a problem that he gave his physics class, just for shits. It had something to do with a space shuttle and acceleration. I don't remember the details, but the important bit was that it ignored the fact that in space, constant thrust=constant acceleration. I pointed this out and he got all pissed off at me. I said, "Excuse me for knowing more about your class than you. Does this mean I can go home now?"

I've seen the video before. I can't remember the authenticity of it.

But creating actual optic camouflage for soldiers or vehicles is daunting because they're a much larger size with odd angles all over and unlike in a freaking dorm room there is gonna be shit moving all around outside or in a war zone. Never mind if they even manage to develop optic tech able to actually update at a rate enough to hide someone from the naked eye - how the hell will they power it in a way that doesn't give off a shit load of heat and is portable/easily replaceable?

You could do so much cool shit with that like.. ya know... be there..and be quasi-invisible..

and your friends would walk in and be like "hey, your quasi-invisibile"

and you would be like. "yeah.."

that wasn't as cool as I thought.

Okay yeah did a little research.

The tech is just a projection technique using the background behind the person. It only works in prepared situations on static backgrounds.
