Annnnnnd I just now realized that Phil Sebben is a pun on Falcon 7.
God dammit.
It's even more obvious if you use his full name, Phil Ken Sebben,

“Jeopardy!” fell another 2% in Dr. Oz’s first week as guest host, with the Sony game show posting its lowest numbers since the New Year’s holiday break.
“Jeopardy!” finished with a 5.2 household rating, while “Family Feud” led its second week in a row with a 5.4 rating, for the week ending March 28. It should be noted that the syndication faced heavy preemptions due to CBS’ coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
The 5.2 rating is the lowest for “Jeopardy!” since the week ending Jan. 3, which was right before Alex Trebek’s final week. The final episodes for the longtime host, who died in November following a battle with pancreatic cancer, hit season highs in early January. The show pulled in a 6.6 rating across his farewell week, with his final episode on Jan. 8 drawing 14 million viewers, more than any episode in over a year.
Since then, the show has had a rotating cast of guest hosts. Ken Jennings was first up and drew a 6.2 rating in his first week. In Week 2, he had a 5.9 rating. Jennings holds the “Jeopardy!” records for wins and cash prizes, and he also won the show’s “Greatest of All Time” tournament.

Maybe they should actually put Levar Burton as host like everyone including him wants.
I'm in a Facebook group of former J! contestants and pretty much all of them signed a petition telling Sony to kick his ass to the curb, they were livid

They are making season 13 of MST3K by self funding via that website I won't mention as I'm not trying promote it.
Same cast as the tour/turkey day stuff?
I would assume so? The last live show really felt like a hand off to Emily Crenshaw as the Joel/Mike/Jonah. She was really good too. Not sure about the Mads situation.

Uh, they want to fund their own app/platform? Seems... IDK. I know the legal issue of their entire venture makes doing stuff on like Youtube/Twitch difficult to still profit from it, but seems weird to try and go for a "MST3K only" app. I also don't think they're budging the cost of running a fucking streaming platform in this very well (3% of funds to that? really? seems... skeptical), unless Shout Factory is actually doing it all behind the scenes or something.

I definitely assume Shout Factory is very much involved since they have all the rights to the old episodes.

I think so but that's not explicitly confirmed
In addition to more episodes, their idea is to fund the creation of the Gizmoplex, an MST3K streaming service/theater where they can host live events with you and where you can host watch parties of episodes with your friends
By self-releasing the new season they think they'll be able to premiere episodes soon after completion instead of just waiting till the whole season's done to release it all, so there'd be way less of a wait time than there was before

"The Venture Bros" take on Scobby and the Gang was superior than "SCOOB". Hell, "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" take on the Gang was also superior.
That I did not know, that's strike two for me on this topic.
Also, I probably should have said "didn't have permission" instead of "didn't have the rights" since it's all the same umbrella corporation and all.

When I goolged to check the spelling of his name and saw that was when it hit me, yes.

Only if she laughs derisively at every wrong answer. Her being mean to contestants is what makes Nailed It so good.
She's doing an amazing job playing a 14 year old boy but I think it may be too cringe for me.
I'd be happy with either Levar Burton or Ken Jennings

Rotate all of the TNG cast through.
How many of the contestants will you be shoving into lockers?
how many nerds could possibly show up to be on jeopardy
good. fuck that guy. he's an actual charlatan.
Especially people who get off on targeting the elderly like he does.
Wait, how about Nicole Byers hosts wheel of fortune, with Wes in the Vanna White role,
I grew up around a lot of other Ukies and I knew like, 4 people with the surname Gogol

I'm excited if they pull this off
Steam
Did he do anything especially egregious? I cannot imagine he is worse than Dr Oz
Fucking this up would be the easiest thing in the world
a little flat, but he keeps the game moving and he’s clearly psyched to be there
I thought he did good! Admittedly, I'm biased, but I submit to you that Peen may be as well.

This was in the YouTube thread. It isn't specifically about anything he did but it is pretty hilarious.
