This is part of, or I guess I should say culmination of, an ongoing joke about things spicy enough to kill Phil, including a single unsalted french fry, a photograph of curry, or a mixed-race couple.

One of the first things that crossed my mind was hoo boy that wake in going to be awwwkwaaaaaard if Harry shows up with Meagan.

Like it could be an all timer.

Hopefully Charles kicks the bucket before the queen though. She can’t abdicate to William directly if I understand it correctly, Charles gets a crack at it first claim wise and he would also have to pass.

It would be nice for that miserable fuck to miss out one last time.

While Trump was in office I was just putting the hope out into the universe that she wouldn't die while he was in office.

Now I want her to outlive him too.

    Not...recently, no.

    Edit: Wait, no, also recently.

They've been a symbol of thoughtless rich privilege for a long time, which has pissed a lot of people off for a long time. But also just recently Meghan Markle went on Oprah and now a bunch more people are newly pissed off about how racist they are, in addition to all the other racism that we already knew about because of history.

Harry and Meghan did an interview with Oprah which can be summed up as "the Royal Family is racist as hell, so we moved to the other side of the planet".

Also the fact that qanon has basically ignored this is I’m guessing because a) they only believe it when it’s about a democrat and b) they only consider it sex trafficking when it’s fictional super young blond haired and blue eyed children and not slutty teenagers who probably have Democrat parents

Matt Gaetz was originally considered for the role of the main villain in LazyTown, but was rejected because he was deemed "too much of a obvious greasy creep" by a panel of extremely naive schoolchildren who were exposed to a ten-second clip of a campaign speech chosen by Gaetz staffers who were honestly doing the best they could.

Yeah, the existence of royalty goes against the basic concept of all people being born equal in rights, and so even the most generous noble in the world is still starting at a very solid negative karma for me. Add in stuff like jokes about how millions of people need to die for 'overpopulation' (read: almost certainly non-white people) just confirms it.

One of the more stupid twists of the Meghan Markle interview was how founding father worshipping conservatives in the US have had to twist themselves into defending the British royal family because any rich white person accused of racism must be defended at all costs. I mean, it's not that much of a twist because none of those people have any shame at all, but still.

To be fair, aristocracy usually protects each other when under threat from outside.

When those photos of Justin Trudeau in blackface came out, you might think that the reaction of the Conservative party would be to really pounce and pound on that, especially since an election was coming, but you would be wrong.

Their reaction was some tsking and fretting and

WELL, it was a long time ago! It's not that bad... after all WHO AMONG US HAS NOT--

And then they didn't win that election.

It’s not really a twist at all, they have deified the founding fathers and most view the constitution as some sort of inerrant bible. One of those qanon representatives recently had a tweet of hers go viral which was basically “I will never allow the constitution to be changed! I support the second amendment”, and people had to point out the word amendment , and that if the constitution had never been changed she wouldn’t be in congress or allowed to vote

Frankly modern republicans transported back to the revolution with their same value structures and sensibilities would be Loyalists through and through.

No, because one of the reasons the Revolution happened is because British society was beginning to lose its taste for chattel slavery.
