GUH! I’m so busy with vaccinating folks I haven’t been painting yet. I did draw a monster though that I kinda love. Might do it again some time to iron out the perspective on its body parts. It’s mandibles are way bent right now.
I tried to design them around a fundamental lack.
Wrath. No head to think.
Lust. No heart to love.
Gluttony. No stomach to fill.
Sloth. No arms to create.
Envy. No legs to pursue.
Pride. Okay, erm, I’m thinking it latches onto stuff and sucks the life out of them while making them do stuff. You know, like a boss.
Greed. No horns... because greed demons are just evil humans.
This isn’t art, just me thinking about how I could make four separate characters for a personal project, make them all the same, but give the impression they’re different through animation.
Up front I’ll say it’s a art design project I’ve had in my head for ages, but it’s not something I’m going to actually make into a game.
The premise, such as it is, would be a group of people in a modern-ish fantasy world at a celebration for the Legendary Hero. However, when the city is attack by monsters, they take up arms with novelty swords and store bought hero outfits to once again save the kingdom!
The four characters would be exactly the same, but with the emotive animations I think I can make them appear different enough that you won’t even realise/care.
I’m thinking I’ll also cook up four princesses (not necessarily all princesses), a bunch of classic enemies (bat, goblin, one eyed boss etc.), four evil captains to rival the heroes, and a final boss. Potentially a bunch of imagery too, like a Triforce, Sheikah Eye, and so on.

I’ll be dropping posting junk for now. It might take awhile but my next post will be actual art.
Cubish. This one is a freebie. Real art next!
There you have it, real art.
Okay, alright, I’m gonna buy some canvases this weekend and get painting, get off my back, me.
The more I look at the first one I can’t help but think “Kermit Rider”.
Just playing with the basic idea.
*The Boys are Back in Town as sung by drunk goblins*
I have bought canvases! I’ll be painting after work. But, for now...
Well shucks, not today, but I shall.

It’s hard to explain, but it’s for a Choose Your Own Adventure game I’m doing. It’s about a farmer...
