Is that even a buff for N'Zoth? It no longers corrupts Clowns.
Are Clowns a significant part of N'Zoth decks? As far as I can tell, most decks running N'Zoth don't seem Clown-based. Of course almost no decks are running N'Zoth period since it sucks.

I don't know if "you can play N'Zoth a turn earlier" is going to do much for whatever goofy decks are playing it, but I guess it's something.

A control warrior deck was using them, together with the poison bunny to corrupt them. It meant playing up to 8 corrupted clowns as you could copy and buff them. Perhaps it's for the best before it got too refined.

    Fun deck, though. RIP.
I don't see how the N'Zoth change exactly kills that deck. It sounds like it had other 10 drops that could still corrupt them.

You can only run so many 10 drops, and N'Zoth was a perfect one as it gave you a whole board of defense and offense while corrupting your clowns.

Still doesn't sound like this niche deck that almost no one played is significantly more dead after the patch. Still sounds about as playable as before.

I'm not sure why you phrased it that way. I'm just saying the deck I enjoyed playing and was trying to refine got worse.

No need to be a goose about it?

You posting "RIP" implied the deck was now comparatively unplayable. I disagreed with that estimation.

Maybe there is some miscommunication here. I thought it's no secret I enjoy playing underperforming decks, trying to take them (dad) legend, and see if I can improve them while doing so.

I got this almost to dad legend, and My RIP meant it probably wasn't in the cards for this one anymore as I probably have to radically alter it now to see if I can get it to work. Ah well.

Have you tried it since the patch? It's possible you're overestimating the effect of the change.

I feel like the 'new' death rattle DH might be the deck that stalls mage with aggressive board after board, and could take over the mage mantel.

Another dumb highroll Wild deck. You can skip to the money shots at 3:30, 6:20, 9:35, 12:40. The last couple minutes is just a montage of whiffs.

True, but they need it in their first 3 turns to be effective as that's where the DH only has 1-3 minions in play. After that, the steamroll seems to quite unstoppable for a mage. But it fully depends on how DH does against the other meta decks as well, ofcourse.

I saw a rise of them after the buffs, not sure how the dust settled.

Dodges pretty much everything since there's no "if your opponent plays a weapon" countering tech/secret cards (and no one runs weapon removal either, not like that part even matters)

Yeah imagine if rogue or warrior had 6/6 for 6 mana that equips a 3/3 weapon, that shit would have been run as a 2-of every deck from day one.

It needs to either summon a 4/4, or go to 7 mana at a minimum.

Oh my Yogg needs to have a harder activation requirement (2nd or 3rd spell cast this turn) or it needs to swing the RNG more in favor of the person casting the spell (cast a new random spell 2-3 mana higher.

I decided to actually play some hearthstone again tonight, which was a mistake. Multiple opponents in a row roping the entire turn, even spending half of each turn with all mana already spent

edit: okay that last one was definitely just a weird bot designed to waste people's time. Odd warrior, nothing but taunts and armour gain. Never attacks

If you're playing Wild, you will occasionally run into Odd Warrior bots that rope every turn to maximize XP gain.

Does it actually maximize XP over time though, or just XP per game?

XP is earned by play time, and time spent in queue doesn't count. So you're shitting on games in order to gain some 5% additional XP.

Ah, good to know. Well if I run into it again I think I know what I can do to win slightly faster (rather than in fatigue + 3)

Played a bit more today, all real opponents fortunately. On one hand I feel bad for beating up on the people in bronze / low silver, but on the other I'm just running an unmodified small quest mage from whenever it was that I played last
