Your colors are looking great! I can see you've been working on it
Thank you very much! I really appreciate it, so far that book you recommended is doing wonders for me. That quick corona sketch is miles ahead of what I was able to do a month ago.
This one’s done 😁 I’m thinking of putting together a collab for this piece. If anyone’s interested to join I can send me a message and I can give you the template and you can draw your own quarantine room, I’m gonna program a skyscraper like viewer so you can see each room navigating up and down. Maybe with a Easter egg hunt sort of mechanic for trophies.
Very cool! It’s always impressive to good graffiti, I reckon if I did it it’d all drip together.
Hahaha years of practice, I say start early the techniques of spray painting will help any and all muralist. No matter how big the wall good spray technique will take you to the finish line faster.
Oh is that the piece that is inspired by Mucha and Art Nuevo? Very strong design and graphic quality!
Yes! Indeed it is. After seeing your studies and reading some new comics and playing close attention to how they used motion in their covers. I did a second pass at it and came up with this wave look and the two little windows at the sides to complete the rectangle.
Tried to put in a bit of eastern style with the big ink strokes so it at least feels like some sort of samurai warrior.
Really happy with how it’s coming together, gonna play with textures for those greens and then finish it off with shading.
Hahahahaha “bear” thanks for the feedback, yeah I’m definitely gonna go with the first one, after that.
Been devouring that Colors book, almost done with it, I’m excited to try out some triads painting, definitely most of it is above my skill level but I’m hoping that by implementing some of the knowledge bit by bit into each of my new paintings I can process the information better and then after a while I hope to re-read the book and understanding it more.
Man I still need to go back all the time to the book. You don't internalize everything on the first read, you come back from time to time and learn a bit more each time

I’m at the part of color scripting a story and it has me thinking I should go back to my story sketches and throw colors in there before I continue refining them for printing.
Tried to keep my color to 3 main ones on this zombie test and then mix those 3 with themselves and with white and black to paint this zombie. I think I’m understanding the book but still kinda lost with Color Theory.
Dad asked me to redraw some stuff for him. Took a drawing through 3 stages.
Inking for Vinyl Decals
Flat Colors for logo or embroidery.
Full Color Render for sticker prints.
I’m really proud of the way I shaded the helmet and the hair things. I had huge help from the ref for sure but still nice to know I can make it look sorta realistic with some light painting.
The wood came out pretty neat too and that gives me joy.

I Appreciate any feedback you might have. Been reading a lot on Alphonse Mucha so I’m going in that Art Nouveau direction.

Here are the finished pics
It is 😁 we are super happy with how it came out and we’re the biggest wall on the festival so that’s awesome 🙌
Currently working on this in a new studio space.

Happy you’re digging it!

Nice!! Added it to my reading list, I would definitely love to incorporate more Mucha into my art.
In other news, check out this restaurant I finished painting.
Different this one was for a taco restaurant near the beach. Happy you like it 😁
Definitely the first one. The purple background in #2 flattens the image whereas the #1 bear escaping from the frame is dynamic and exciting!

Particularly that stained-glass style wolf and the samurai panda.
Thanks a lot! Been working extra hard on my coloring and painting techniques and it shows ☺️🙏🙏
