I still can't believe he single-handedly created all of the music (except for the parts featuring Mayssa Karaa), art, coding, level design, everything. I don't know if Thomas Happ was a musician before he started making games, but it wouldn't surprise me at this point because damn AV2's soundtrack is excellent (AV1's as well, I still listen to it often)
Huh, Cookie Clicker apparently has a soundtrack made by C418, who is the person that made both of Minecraft's soundtracks. I haven't listened to it yet, but I'ma probably pick it up on Bandcamp since I like a lot of his other work. It tends to be very chill music
Might need some help on this. This song popped up in my spotify weekly playlists, and it hit me pretty hard with a sense of familiarity. But I have no idea where I might have heard it before. Was this on a game soundtrack? I'm getting the vaguest picture of something pretty lo-fi, like Sword & Sworcery or Hyper Light Drifter, but I'm pretty certain it wasn't either of those.
There's also a chance it's just brain magic, one of those rare songs that seems perfectly calibrated to your own tastes, like it was written just for you.

So they asked Hildur Guðnadóttir, who scored Chernobyl and Joker, to make the soundtrack for Battlefield 2042. https://youtu.be/FytcxmBT9Ls https://youtu.be/xCF-AMJF1jM
I think it is splendid. The music sounds slightly panicked and nonsensical, as befits a setting where climate change is ending modern society.

After a good weekend's of work, myself and a couple other Suda51 nuts are proud to present the freshly-translated, full version of F.S.R./Anata no Tameni in glorious HD.
