They've been on and off a bit, and they've just sent me a message saying that they're alive but finding it hard to look at screens or do much.
So still getting over it.
In a surprise twist, Nintendo announces there will be a third fighter pass for Super Smash Bros Ultimate! Who will be chosen to be added to the already overwhelming 86 character roster? Industry professionals and fans alike await with baited breath. But hold on! A cry goes out, "no more anime swordsmen!" There's only so many spots available in a pass, and they want as much variety among the characters as possible. You will have to work together to decide who should be chosen, and who should be cut. Certainly, those who would be excluded for such superficial similarities aren't going to stand idly by as their chance to be recognized as gaming royalty slips through their fingers.
Today's match-ups will be:
Group A: 38thDoe, Auralynx, mrpaku, & premium
You'll be playing 1v1s (38thDoe vs premium, Auralynx vs mrpaku)
Items will be turned off
Your Stage will be Battlefield, which is a battlefield type, so it gives advantage to Balanced fighting style, and disadvantage to Opportunist style.
Group B: AustinP0027, kime, MamaWolf, & Sir Fabulous
You'll be playing a Free For All
Items will be active
Your Stage will be Rainbow Cruise, which is an airborn type, so it gives advantage to Aggressive fighting style, and disadvantage to Defensive style.
Group C: Brody, Bucketman, Lucedes, & SeGaTai
You'll be playing 1v1s (Brody vs Bucketman, Lucedes vs SeGaTai)
Items will be turned off
Your Stage will be Figure-8 Circuit, which is a hazardous type, so it gives advantage to Opportunist fighting style, and disadvantage to Balanced style.
Group Calica, discrider, Heffling, & Wildcat
You'll be playing a 2v2 (Calica & Heffling vs discrider & Wildcat)
Items will be active
Your Stage will be Hyrule Temple, which is a loop type, so it gives advantage to Balanced fighting style, and disadvantage to Aggressive style.

Well you see, Rainbow cruise has you on a flying boat.
So if you stand around doing nothing, you fall off the bottom of the screen.
So it's very hard to be Defensive on that stage as you have to keep moving.
