I thought this sounded like shit when I first listened to it but then I realized it was just that my phone's tiny speakers have terrible bass, it sounds much better coming out of proper speakers

According to his Patreon, Husky has been able to quit his job to become a full-time music producer, and I'm happy for him. First getting to meet with Soken, now this, this dude is living his dream.

My local college radio station plays an eclectic mix of musical genres from cultures all around the world; tonight they played something that made me go "oh, that's neat; sounds like something that would play during a Nier: Automata boss. I'll have to look it up when I get home". (Evidently they somehow broadcast the title and composer information along with radio these days.) Anyway, I threw the name into Youtube, and actually it turned out that I wasn't completely off the mark:
(This is not the only video game music I've ever heard from this station late at night. One time the DJ chose to treat us all to the theme of Bubblegloop Swamp.)
My favorite musical instrument is the air-raid siren.
I have mixed feelings about that arrangement. Trisection is a very clean waltz and I feel like that's kinda lost here. But I feel the same way about the Dissidia NT remix as well:
These are more remasters than rearrangements, and I think this guy's done a good job. There are others on his channel, including the unreleased alternate shop theme, which I don't think I'd ever heard before.

God help me, I'm a sucker for 'band that exists in particular video game universe' music, like Old Gods of Asgard and the like.
