I've drawn one engineering card and I used it in a check...

I have it wrong, Gaius and Hot Dog should be pulling some blue.

  • SeGaTaiSeGaTai Registered User regular
I draw blue but getting back to the ship to repair it doesn't feel super useful if I'm the only one to draw quorum - but now the pilots have to so have fun grease monkeys

    PSN SeGaTai
  • discriderdiscrider Registered User regular
I meant to draw blue on the second quorum play from Gaius, after seeing what I got from the first.
But forgot that all the quorums I had seen weren't really applicable at the moment.

    It's too late.
38th has added Celeste to their Steam wishlist, and so I've already won.

I'm not sure why that event was added to my Celeste Steam feed, and came up underneath my 'Play Celeste' button.

But it's at least more entertaining than this random posting on my Celeste screenshots to try and get my unclaimed Steam game gift

I thought we weren't using the Daybreak loyalty cards. That isn't in my copy.

Sorry, yeah, holiday stuff. Not sure what to do here. Could anyone use an XO?

    blahmcblah on
  • kimekime Queen of Blades Registered User regular
I could shoot the base star! But I don't know if that's the best use really.

You could double check the crisis deck prepares the Jump?

    Dunno

Shooting the basestar from weapons control or fixing the hanger if you pulled the right blue are my suggestions

  • discriderdiscrider Registered User regular
    edited November 2021
I would have to move to use an XO.
    Which seems a waste.

But if you want to just give your turn to a human, then I'd go to weapons control and fire.

... You're apparently already there though.

    ..

I could also move to the Pegasus/hanger and draw blue, and hope to fix something next turn.

If no one has a repair, I do and am willing to leave my glorious pleasure palace and muck it up with the filth if there is no better xo target

    PSN SeGaTai
  • discriderdiscrider Registered User regular
But XOing you would make too much sense, SeGaTai

  • blahmcblahblahmcblah You pick your side and you stick - you don't cut and run when things get ugly. Registered User regular
Meh, it's probably not safe to XO anyone right now. I'll take Starbuck's advice and see what's on top of the crisis deck. Except I don't draw Tactics, so I can't launch a scout... I guess I'll have to find another way. Oh, right, that way!

Move to Research Lab. Use Resolute (OPG) to activate Caprica - look at the top two crisis cards and choose one to resolve.

Extremely sorry for the long delay, everyone - it won't happen again. Real life has been kind of a jerk lately.

It was a (US) holiday. imo that's totally fine, my own gaming time was also limited.

    So..
Does this mean there will be two crises this turn?

Yeah, but there might be two jump preps! We can dream, right?

  • discriderdiscrider Registered User regular
Nothing stopping using the human fleet location either I think, if you were looking for jumps

    Interrogation <Exodus Expansion>

    Admiral must choose:
    A) The Admiral chooses another player to send to "Sickbay". The Admiral may then look at 1 of that character's Loyalty Cards at random.
    OR
    B) The Admiral discards 2 Skill Cards; then the current player discards 3 Skill Cards.

    After Crisis: Activate Basestars

    That's not great...

Edit: I mean best case scenario we would have wasted the next two turns on not Jump Prepping, maybe, so that is the bright side....

Meh, Cain’ll probably just Sickbay someone she suspects, whose turn isn’t for a while so they can be XO’d out anyway. And if she chooses option B, I’ve got 12 cards in hand, so meh. I think it was the least bad option available.

That seems like a pretty good crisis honestly, considering the basestar also doesn't get to fire.

I'm rather surprised that it is so good frankly.
Had thought this was a super malicious move by the Cylon leader to drain our cards.
