Something weird is going on because there are obviously characters who are from the first game but there is no acknowledgement of the events of the first game or the “worst thing ever” that occurred. That and them being suddenly on the Island like that.

Going through the Skyward Sword playthrough right now and it's funny because I know Arin says he hates the game but he's often having fun with the game. Maybe it's just because Dan's optimism is so infectious.
Watching Arin fail hard at this "Don't Push The Button" is painful lol. The "Look at your steps" even though he just said "it's opposite day" and the "code is inside the room" without looking outside. Poor guys lol

I've been rewatching all the Game Grumps House Party videos lately. God those videos had some amazing moments. I think my favorite thing to come out of that series was the running meme of "What the fuck? I can't get any _____age!"
Wonder if they'll ever go back to it. I was curious so I checked the steam page and it looks like they've been adding a lot more stuff to the game since then (including soon a female protagonist option which I would assume has to play very differently... I would imagine they also had to go back in and record new lines for it?).

The steam page said they were aiming for a March 2022 full release so maybe that would be a good time to go back again? (I imagine they normally wouldn't but I have to think they are recording new lines for the female protagonist route so maybe they'd want to show that stuff off)

Yeah, tbh I was expecting it to be longer I totally forgot it was only last year that they went back. If they do go back a third time, I wonder if Arin will figure out how to sit in the hot tub :P

I feel so sorry for Arin with these minigame instructions. Danganranpa 2 has literally the worst tutorials ever. I don't know how they dropped the ball so much (seriously man, PICTURES... you don't need 10 paragraphs to explain something you could show with 2 pictures). And ah yes, the "Improved" Hangman's Gambit, aka the "Worst" Hangman's Gambit. Thank god v3's version isn't as terrible as this one (it still sucks tho, Hangman's Gambit is by far the worst minigame in all of these)

That said, the Smart Girls whatever game totally reminded me of those old PC games for like Windows 3.1 my family would used to buy back in the early 90s. Just like a bunch of Christmas minigames for like $15 or something (and I think they'd give you like, Christmas wallpapers and screensavers too).

That John Oliver bit is both amazing and explicitly old news for the people in this forum specifically. I feel like most of us knew of 75% of the games he mentioned either from the Grumps, something like Games Done Quick, or just from playing them for those of us old enough.
It's been a few days, but the Grumps had some good bits lately. More Observation Duty, now the sequel (no guest this time, sadly,) and the semi-regular chess match, AKA Dan destroys Arin at Chess. The latest episode had a particularly good one.
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.
I took a break from GG the past month or so because it feels like every other episode is with a Guest that I've never heard of and the vibe is weird.
Observation Duty videos though. I'm down for it.
But Cthulhu Saves Christmas! Aka the game made by people from this forum (Zeboyd Games) :P I was excited but then all the boards went to the dumb holiday boards so I couldn't mention it :P
Actually I think I enjoyed all the guest grumps they did. Though I didn't really watch the Backgammon and Chess and crap (those episodes are always just meh to me)
