That healing based on AA damage when you had one of his shields was degenerate at some points. The initial version before they tried to make him more healer-y was better.
They really just needed more healers in the game at that time. Diversity was awful.

Tass was always considered OP at the highest levels of play when you had a hyper carry like valla on your team, so I imagine that with the Valla buffs it would just be that much worse.
But he would remain dogshit at everything below GM (maybe some masters could do it as well) and outside of coordinated play because that's too much to ask for the hots playerbase.

It takes a LOT of game knowledge and tracking the in game timer. It's one of the biggest hurdles to learning MOBAs IMO

For me it wasn't like "This Mura keeps hopping into every fight" but more like "He had like 8 seconds before he could hop again"
I got to witness all of this because our Genji was fucking awful, and I was the only waveclear on our team as Leo. They had no kill pressure, and I was too busy rotating to give a shit. HotS never changes.
Played a SL game last night on Warhead Junction as Azmo. My team was Azmo, Dva, Jaina, Ana, and Sylv. The enemy had a standard tank, bruiser, healer, assassin comp.
Seeing we drafted no Tank, I figured it was map control time. I spent the entire game avoiding fights and clearing lanes. Dropping ults and nukes on Forts and Keeps when I could.
Post-10, the enemy team turned into a Protoss deathball and kept looking for fights. My team was happy to oblige, but usually only with 3 people at any given time.
I said fuck it and just went core. The advantage of them being a deathball meant I knew where they were on the minimap at all times. Post-20, Dva and I went to the core and double nuked, Mech bomb, and ulted it, bringing it down to 54 before we died.
When I respawned, I snuck my way to the core at dropped it to 24 with my ult alone. As I’m waiting to respawn again, I tell my team I can solo the core if they can defend and distract the enemy. At this point, the enemy was on to me and kept someone back to clear the lanes and defend.
My team spread out in all 3 lanes and I stayed out of vision on the bot lane. Sure enough, the enemy team couldn’t stand my team daring to take their bruiser camp and took the fight, with only the Naz hanging back. I saw Naz in the bot lane, then he disappears and reappeared in the top lane to clear a wave. I waited for the bot wave to pass then dove the core for the win.
4 upvotes, which I assume came from my happy team and not the salty enemies. We went like 17-38, but it was enough in the end. That 2-minute game of hide and sneak at the end was glorious.

Not enough of a Rehgar nerf in my opinion, but it's a step in the right direction.
I dunno, looks decently substantial to me. Was your build not taking any of the nerfed talents?
They've targeted a lot of the right talents; I'm just not convinced these changes are sufficient to reduce his winrate by 15%.
I think it's enough. The baseline reduction to HP and duration already knocks it down a peg, likely below a good number of damage thresholds (e.g., 1 auto-attack instead of 2). Moving the talent from 1 to 7 doesn't seem like much, but it also reduces his early game power, which reduces the snowballing of games. And they nerfed the talent while moving it, too, so it won't be as strong as it used to be even when you do take it a bit later in the game.
A lot of hero balance is playing with breakpoints and thresholds. My biggest problem with the totem was just that it took forever to kill, effectively removing any counterplay or even counter-drafting.
well, I lost, but I must say I enjoy Junkrat very much in ARAM. "Fire in the hole!"

Palindrome!

With those kinds of numbers that's gotta be a 35+ minute game. Having multiple healers does help inflate damage numbers for the other team, of course.

I mean, it was a level 30 vs 30 game. I dunno if I've ever seen that happen, even in ARAM.

For some reason level 30 actually seems to come faster in ARAM than it does in normal maps. Not sure if they adjusted the XP curve somehow for that mode or what, but you usually hit 30 around 30 minutes in an ARAM game, whereas in a 30 minute QM (as I recall) you'll still typically only be like 25-26 or so.
So I recently fused an Amon and found that their Megido's Flame(Severe piercing fire damage to all enemies) and High Fire Pleroma is enough to kill the Magatama in the last zone regardless of their defenses. Farming just got waaaaay easier.
Someone call Dibby and MMMig! The new HotS content is here!

I'm honestly not even sure how I ended up posting in this thread, I haven't even played HotS in over a year.

They gave Genji a stealth talent. He's a real ninja now!
I'm amused

No changes on Jo seems strange. Minor buffs on Nova always appreciated.

Just remove that talent entirely, it's fuckin busted

This picture epitomizes HotS.
