I planned to try this out, but wasn't sure if I'd be into it. I just watched that director's trailer though and damn it looks better than I anticipated.

Apparently the guild rewards (silmael crystals) are pretty important for character upgrades etc. and require a pretty big active guild; with the split between east and west servers I don't think we'll have enough active players on either to make joining a PA guild not effectively shooting yourself in the foot unfortunately.
this is a funny turn of events i've never seen before because, well i don't bother preloading anything. My cpu is slow enough and my internet fast enough it's quicker to download a game then decrypt the preload files. lmao. Just deleted it and am re-d/ling due to how slow the unpack is.
edit: yup i have redownloaded the game again and am in in the time it took my unpack to get to 15%

I had this, restarting steam fixed it. But even then, the vast majority of people don't seem to be able to get in yet - Steam has to apply some update and then "unpack" the game, which is timing out for most people (including me). Steam is getting rammed.
Also, this game currently has almost 1 million viewers on twitch.

Cleared all the Steam hurdles but the game gets to the splash screen then stops launching.
I'm sure the servers are fucked. I wasn't even going to be on for 9am today but I randomly woke up at 8:40 because I guess my body was ready.

The global chat should 100% happen though since I think most raids/pvp is region wide

What's the deal with character names? Adding numbers to the end of my name, said it was invalid. Do they count numerals as special characters?
