Well broadly speaking, "bottom of the sea" themeing does make sense to correlate with "bottom of the deck". Runeterra's deep-sea mechanic for example cared about you getting to the bottom third of your deck. What's goofy about them is of course, devoid of any of the cards that actively put things on the bottom of your deck, mechanically they all might as well just say "look at 3 random cards in your deck" or whatever.
Like mechanically, Radar Detector right there might as well be the druid "draw 3 cards, if they're minions/spells discard them" cards, just for mechs. "oh it's different because it doesn't destroy" No it's the same thing if you're playing a 2 mana draw creatures card you are EMPHATICALLY trying to smash them before y'all draw your decks
Yes. Spend 3 mana to play Unstable Evolution once for free.

That seems like the power level of a card from years ago, so I assume it's just bad nowadays :P
I'd say it's decently power creeped from previous weapon buffers:
Granted you'd rather play your Weapon Keleseth on turn 2 than turn 5, but the payoff for Ashvane is bigger to compensate. I think it'd be a pretty good include if a weapon heavy warrior actually developed, but that's a big if. They put in some support for a weapony warrior last year and it never seemed to materialize.
The big problem with weapon synergy warrior as an archetype is that if you draw multiple weapons at once it's terrible, so you don't want to run too many, but without enough to have consistent weapons to equip, your synergy cards are low rolling wet farts.
Edit: Krastinov has been the best weapon buff card to ever see play in Warrior, but of course that's entirely because of the instant Rush tempo he provided.
Just did the Bru'kan solo campaign and WTF is with the 6th fight (against Lokholar)? They give you an army on turn 1 and he doesn't have any extra health or anything. I beat him down by turn 4. It was oddly trivial for a mid-late campaign fight.

Just popping in to say that WoWHobbs is doing a card reveal at 2pm PST. Hearthstone has been out since 2014 and it's criminal that Hobbs is only just now getting a card reveal. I don't care about his viewer size, that dude is a gem that Hearthstone doesn't deserve. At least he's finally getting some recognition.
And with any luck, his card will be a new Lorewalker Cho.

for reference, if you spend all your mana-1 through turn 6 this is free
it's tremendously more reliable than all the other giants, though; so it's better for combo applications moreso than aggro applications
this 100% replaces molten giant in my wild charge faceless OTK deck
They have now announced that Unstable Evolution will be nerfed by giving it Echo (Echo cards cannot have their cost reduced below 1)
