Watching a person get mad trying to beat a hard game over and over hasn’t been funny since the kaizo trend like 15 years ago, so Elden Ring would be an awful long-term series, especially since it’s a Souls game AND open world which sounds like a nightmare Grumps series.
Yeah I honestly don't mind if they went the route of fighting the boss and making jokes for an episode and then between episodes they beat the boss or whatever they were stuck on. I know they have done that several times and it doesn't bother me at all. There was that boss in DS3 that shit the rain if arrows that killed Arin in one hit that they fought for like 3 episodes. It was fun to hear them react each time to it lol.
i've never noticed when people play games bad on LPs or streams because the game is the least relevant thing possible in the show, it's the personalities.
Shit sometimes it's funnier. Hearing Arin rage at something being bullshit always gets a laugh out of me lol

I'm watching another channel do a DS3 run and it's interesting how many shenanigans you're willing to accept when the streamers have posh London accents

Apparently Arin will be boxing Epic Meal Time as a part of the Idubbz Creator Clash boxing event for charity.
So I'm not going to even glance at the Eldin Ring for another week or month or so when I play the game enough to pass wherever they are. I'm not going to comment on their Eldin Ring...ing as a result. But If I recall, didn't they end the first Dark Souls pretty quickly? And I remember Dark Souls 2 was even shorter.
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

They're doing it out of order so far so it's going to be tough to say when you can start watching. They started running around in an area meant for you to be around level 60 and they're level 15 or so lol.

There are parts of it. There's a bit in watching Arin suffer and rage, but sometimes his obstinance is a difficulty to enjoyment.
And then there's Battle Kid.

Although the grumps could become an exclusive "Wheel of Fortune LP" channel and I would watch the fuck out of it.

There's another guy named Jeff OrrJohn Odd or something like that who makes Supercuts of some of their series. Great background noise while you're doing other things.

I am thoroughly enjoying Super Soccer. They're right... The music is absolutely the best part of the game lol

It is very odd and very 90s that it chose THAT camera angle.
It’s very clearly trying to create an illusion of 3D using the superFX chip thing the SNES had, but holy shit is that angle AWFUL for soccer.
Yeah it's definitely Mode 7 right? My guess is they had to make it look different just to be different.
e: Oh no it's not Mode 7. Just a bad angle lol.
It was originally a PC engine native game called Formation Soccer.

That parallax effect looked EXACTLY like mode 7 though

One of my favorite gags on these Wheel of Fortune episodes is when Arin is just spitting out answers for like 20 seconds and then he's like "Yeah I'm gonna pass". It guts me every single time.
So "In Space with Markiplier" came out today, and it has a cameo from Dan in it (you can't miss it) in the first five minutes. Also Brian, but I'd already spotted him in the trailer so that wasn't a huge surprise. Now I'm going to be keeping an eye out for any other Grumps-adjacent people who might show up.
Is it supposed to be an actual show is it a new format? I guess I've never heard of the guy beyond the Grumps saying his name a couple of times lol
e: It looks like a show? Maybe?
Its a choose your own adventure type thing, similar to A Heist with Markiplier, only this seems way more elaborate and higher budget; apparently there are 100+ endings this time. I must be nearly an hour in and I've still not reached anything resembling an ending. And also I guess Danny isn't just a one-off cameo, he's an actual recurring extra in the background of a lot of the scenes, usually with Brian.
*edit* Okay, that was definitely Arin doing some narration there using his Cecil HH Mills voice, so both of our boys were involved. Without spoiling too much, it was in the "Fire all weapons" option.
*edit* Alright, finally got my first ending... and its a confusing one, probably because I was deliberately picking the stupidest option each time. In the credits, Danny and Brian are officially credited as "Sexy Crew" and "Ninja Crew".
He seemed a lot more focused on places he should be going today. Plus he finally upgraded his flasks. I’ve been waiting for that for awhile now. Oh only he’d try to use an Ash to summon one of his helpers next.
Not a lot happened in this episode, but it went really quickly.

Can't believe it took them this long to dive into the UNO well. Hope they can get some VS going with 7's and 0's rules, because that's the madness I've been craving ever since UpUpDownDown's Da Party broke up.

Oh yeah, I saw that a few days ago on her channel and forgot to post it It's so good
Hands down the one she did for Zelda's diary in BotW is probably my favorite GG Animated. (though that fever dream of amazing improv from the Grumps certainly helped)
I bought Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon because Arin recommended it so thoroughly... And I think I'm the dumbest. I can't beat the first non tutorial level lol

Surprisingly I never bought it. I love Shovel Knight and was waiting for Pocket Dungeon but just never got there. I'll have to pick it up after I'm finished Elden Ring.

Yeah it's just not my kind of game. However giving them more money is okay by me so I'm not upset by it. I'd just much rather have another Shovel Knight-type game IMO.
It didn’t seem to be a thing before, but at least for the last three weeks they’ve taken Monday off. Looks like this will be an official day off for their content. Just feels weird having that one day without any new videos from them.

So with that video title and the comments she made on her Twitter about the idea for the last one coming to her in a fever dream, is Allie the showrunner on 10MPH this season?

Yay, they are up to the best death in Danganronpa now
What's the context for the Game Grumps intro being different now and having "Fatality" at the end? Was this an April Fools thing they just kept around.
Also, regarding Danganronpa, it just now hit me how the murders are more or less realistic but the executions are ridiculously over the top and fantastical. I wonder if there's some deeper meaning for that or not.

Interested to see if we'll see some promo or behind the scenes for that on The Grumps side channel.

Go to the compilations page and go through those too! Longer and great for background or like "podcast" listening
I also went back through the Jacob Anderson videos and those are well worth a rewatch.
