Somebody wrote a novel, but plagiarized in it, so ended up not publishing it.
The author then wrote an article about the plagiarism... and plagiarised somebody else in the process.
Gone right?
The person plagiarized in the article actually has good advice on how to not do this, and how the original author kept falling into the trap.
If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing

Also gone right: there's a website called Plagiarism Today.

It is run by a pretty cool dude as I remember. I got to meet him some years back. A bit weird in the best ways and very passionate. He gave out a bunch of free advice on Facebook back when I actually ever looked at that.

Bad News: McDonald's to leave Russia.
Good News: McDonald's to leave Russia.
Sounds like the plan is to sell the buildings and let them operate as local restaurants without McD branding, etc.
Ukraine was given as the reason, 62,000! employees will be affected, McD will continue to pay them until any sale is complete.
Getting some Brave Little Toaster vibes from that photo
Toaster, Watership Down, and Neverending Story complete the trifecta that gave me an existential crisis before I hit 10 years old.
And all the world will be your enemy, toaster with a thousand enemies. And if they catch you they will turn you in for the warranty exchange. But first they must catch you. 🐇

I don't even remember what Neverending Story is about
I just remember it scaring the crap out of me as a kid

A children's book fantasy land is laid-waste by concentrated apathy and ennui while a kid reading about said land is trying to make sense of the death of his mom and being shoved in lockers.
I saw it recently for the first time and i knew it was going to be screwy was when the kid starts at school at the end of the day and for days after and nobody seems bothered.
"...then he let himself escape completely into fantasy. He probably got institutionalized shortly afterwards; the end, no moral" sure was a lesson to leave a five year old with

I saw it for the first time when I was a little older. I remember nothing about it except
kid reading in the attic
what kind of dumb dragon has no wings and a dog face
oh so this is Wizard of Oz style screwball fantasy where nothing makes any sense and everything in the magical wonderland is trying to kill and/or eat you
