I'm toying with this idea of a mill rogue, since you can draw that 4 Mana 7/7 Shellfish and trigger it's death rattle a bunch of times, together with a pirates package because that steals 5 cards and more.
Not getting it to work yet, though.

Looks like Clownfish is finally an OP enough Murloc to push things over the edge and make Murloc Shaman a good deck. I don't recall having Flurgl in my collection, though, so I can't try it out without committing.
Doing the Faelin story stuff, apparently Spreading Madness is bugged hardcore on the Kraken encounter. Once it picks a target, that's the only target it's going to hit. I also instantly won when it picked one of its own tentacles, killed it with the damage which resulted in it suddenly being hit for -100 and dying.
Well ok I'll take it, that fight fucking sucks anyway.

I know Wild is all for the game-breaking fun but having a session where back to back Big Shamans got out Neptulon on Turn 2 is some PTSD-inducing stuff.

this is what modern ctrl warrior does to mech mage (guy had the draw a card and gain armor pirate that drew 2x drakefire amulet as well)
e: i didn't even get brann value, this guy had 5 mecha shark and 3 gaia, the tech-tonic
I haven't seen any of the new legendaries in play in Standard. Do people have a grudge against that octopus? Make a Shaman deck, plop down the octopus, play that +magic damage card Bioluminescence next turn and then ZAP 2 lightning bolts to the enemy's face.

A combo based on playing an expensive do nothing minion and hoping your opponent can't do anything for a turn is way too optimistic.

The only classes that seem to have benefited from the miniset are warrior with the elementals and rogue with jackpot
battlegrounds sucks shit too, the gap between the top three tribes and everyone else is enormous

if i were a card designer for team 5 i would implement a hard limit on # of specific cards you could discover per game
