It would be so nice if the Darkmoon prizes worked like spellcraft spells. This one game I missed both the turn 8 prize and the turn 12 prize because my hand was full. the first one was even because spellcraft minions triggered before the prize discover.
Doesn't seem like a good 10 drop compared to Ony and Neptulon. If you draw him early and you can throw out a lot of stuff to pump him up (e.g., Scales of Onyxia) it's kind of the dream scenario, but he's awful as a topdeck and his damage is undirected so it feels like the variance is way too high.
I know the top legend meta is kind of a different beast from the ladder climbing most of us do, but Meati has been sitting at rank 1 for a while with Questline Priest. That deck definitely seems to be at its best right now.
yeah the way it interacts with renathal is so goofy. you like the 10 extra life, and you don't care about the 10 extra cards, because you're already a deck that just linearly plays bad cards to try and speedrun to a victory condition that you're gonna tutor anyway
That's an interesting variant on a miracle Rogue mechanic. Rogue has a pop off turn and then clicks the button at the end of the turn to make a beefy minion that's hard to remove on the opponent's next turn.
I don't think the graveyard exactly fits that well into any current Rogue deck game plans, but it does seem like it has some potential. "Play a bunch of discounted shit that clears the enemy's board" is definitely a thing that Rogues do sometimes, and "Play a bunch of discounted shit that clears the enemy's board and also shit out a big dude" would be even better. Requiring an extra "do nothing" card for setup is the rub, of course. I suppose it could replace something like Reconnaissance.
I noticed Prestor Druids in whatever pro tournament was last weekend, and apparently it's not just a tournament meme. It has significant representation on ladder and apparently isn't terrible (definitely not tier 1 though).
Finally got 100% achievements in BG. Last three to fall were 60/60 tabbycat (Mutanus, 1st attempt), 10 triples (Hooktusk, 2nd attempt), and Jaraxxus victory (Jaraxxus, 5th attempt).

I'm at 99% because the game has legit never offered me Ozumat, NOT ONCE
The hero-based BG achievements become harder and harder to do as the pool grows. And they're all but impossible at this point to finish if you don't buy the BG perks.

I had this exact comp (except my golden khadgar was 15/15) on my 2nd (and failed) win-with-Jaraxxus attempt. Got murderized by two players with perfect murloc builds.
