my jungler is always calling out when the enemy jungler is very obviously crossing my own ward to come gank me, which is very helpful bc I never notice it >.>
(in my defense, I'm approaching like 15 games on SR total and HotS' minimap is way better so that skill didn't transfer cleanly :P)
i honestly wish when people queued with masters it took into account the higher person's mmr more.
it's just ridiculous being in a game against a 3 man master/plat premade with one new account to drag down the mmr and they're matched against my team of bronze and silver players. just so awful.

It is good when the game matches you with an obvious habitual griefer and they grief your game and then you report them and the game matches you with them again the next game.

and she's giga safe because her E is one of the best escapes in league.

They did nerf her W including the AP scaling last patch, so people are for sure aware of it--but yeah, it has the same unfun as the age of Nidalee spears. Long range, very safe, just takes one moment of inattention and goodbye 80% of your hp (...or 100)

the problem isn't the scaling, the problem is the crit when it goes through walls. it's going to be one of those things like true invis on akali's w that they insist on trying to maintain for 10 months leaving a champion a total balance nightmare the entire time until they eventually cave and remove it.

some champs in league would be much easier to rework for that than others; a friend who's an Akali main said swapping her W for something akin to Irela's defensive ability would totally work, but the likes of Eve and Shaco would need a real hard look

Given Eve and Akali both being in KDA and having just...lots of skins, I'm going to say that Riot doesn't see that there's a problem. Clearly there is a lot of love for champs with stealth mechanics.
Honestly, I feel like Eve's one of the few where it actually kind of works? She gets the whole "rogue" fantasy. Sneak in, stab someone in the back, coat the lane in their innards, get out before the hammer drops. She does seem to bounce between two states of being, though: Either she's OP or she's the worst pick possible.
EDIT: Since it's been a while since one's dropped, basically they're a 1.5-2 hour stretch of music that Riot's done with collaborators that's safe for streaming.

I think Lethality builds always feel like a bad patch over for the fact that a bunch of Marksmen Champs who used to have abilities to use in compliment to their auto scaling or as laning tools now just can't compete tbh.
...wait a second I just played a game of lethal tempo crit Sivir and while the patch notes are out, the patch definitely has not dropped yet oops
it was flex and I did very well and in a well over 20 min game neither of my solo laners broke 100 cs so uhhh we did not win because ??? there was some strange matchmaking at play
hm yes, 270 cs me, 55 (!) cs to the 12-death mid Senna, 75 cs to the top Garen who created a Kayle so large I could not hope to win a fight. Honestly without the Kayle I think I could have done it but Sivir into Kayle is not a good one
Between the fact that I realized I could fit an entire champ pool of 'champs I'm good at or would like to be good at' into the Star Guardian's line up now and riot points being 20% off for prime day I need a new joke Summoner name.
Like honestly outside of Lillia and Yuumi I don't think going "Just star guardians only, all the time," effects who I play much at all.
well that's something, i don't think that'll be enough for low elo but i'll take it. ad changes add up but the range and the q changes are rough to play against.
nilah might be next, launching at 51% at low elo and almost 50% plat+ is danger zone especially for a champ that's supposed to be high risk and hard to play in the lane
not that i saw her all day, was banned in every game
My experience with Nilah so far has being getting dumped in lane and feeling a little useless.
But even in those games I had moments that felt pretty strong and she’s certainly super fun.

Eh, that just makes her as obnoxious as Yasuo or Yone. Melee ADC's in general have silly tools for damage spikes and survival in a short period. Otherwise they don't work.
In other news I apparently need to play more ranked to get a chill game experience. Given my normals are now full of Plats who note I'm a silver player and start screaming.
I'm enjoying Nilah but I personally have not been too impactful on her yet. I can survive lane in flex queue silver, but I think if I were in solo queue gold I would really struggle against a Caitlyn or MF or Ashe. Probably ok albeit down cs with everyone else. The bonus XP really helps. Doran's shield also hahaha. Most successful lane so far has been when I get friendly ganks, ofc. And then teamfights where everyone's looking to just go in, like me+katarina+qiyana. Still not sure what I like to build/what runes to run. I'll have to see what consensus happens.
I'm also messing around with playing new AA Sivir. I mean I definitely used to play AA-focused Sivir, so I can again, just need to not freak out when my boomerang doesn't do 75% of someone's HP while being up every 3 seconds
this felt pretty good (I mean again playing in flex where the elo is low)--a little lethality second helps; Galeforce is probably required to actually gapclose since you no longer get as intense of a speed burst from your ult; the tear to start with also makes lane feel much less terrible (although you do 0 damage until you buy a sword, but that was true for lethality sivir too. You just gotta hope the support and jungler understand that). In another game where I bought Mortal Reminder second, I felt much worse. Your AS buff on ricochet is good enough, especially since it lasts 4 seconds, not 3 autos.
Also I am reasonably certain they are actually going to have Taliyah talk about being trans in the star guardian visual novel. I mean either that or some sort of tortured metaphor for being trans. We have already had some 'you act so differently in your star guardian uniform than your school uniform,' which, idk what else they might be getting at there.
Anyway I hope so! That would be very cute.

y'know I heard someone table zilean + nilah for the XP memes but that genuinely seems like it'd be really good
he's got the massive speed buff for her to get in and can prep a bomb on her before resetting to land a guaranteed stun once she's in, and then another E to slow someone down for more punching (or speeding her back up to get out)
