The problem there was everyone had 70's on other servers and spent more time on them than on thier OS chas.
So it was more like an alt-guild? Yeah, we should watch out for that.

And what was the estimated release date now since they pushed it bacK?

I don't think anyone answered that bit, but the current date is Q2 2008.
So April, May or June of 2008.

Personally, I'd be suprised if they made those dates, and if they did it would be as late into Q2 as possible.

We couldn't even get a successful european guild running in WoW

I hope it would be different in WAR but I doubt it
Eh it kinda depends on how we run it, IIRC Obsidian Spur was mostly made by a few guys as "oh, guess we should have PA guild for those who haven't been playing with friends". If I have to choose between playing with RL friends I hardly ever see or you guys I think I'll favour the RL friends. Would be more awesome if everyone would be on the same server. :P

This is why you tell your friends to play on our server. You can run off and have your little three man guild or they can all join ours, whatever. The point is get on the same server so we can combine forces.

This right now is my plan for AoC. I know this is the WAR thread, but I'm just saying--looks like it just might work there. My friends aren't terribly interested in WAR it seems, and I'm debating between the two right now. But this seems like the smartest choice--I decided I wanted to be on a server where I could hang out with them, and also help PA people, as opposed to WoW where I made an alt, but didn't really want to play past level 18 or so, and went back with my friends.

True. As long as they don't hook up with the Gathering of Tweakers they should be free to pick a server. Darned Tweakers and their huge Dutch guilds.

Yeah, this is my idea here, although my friends have been slowing moving away from the buying Warhammer Online when it comes out. "Won't have time later in college" and shit.

The biggest advantage the Mouths have over previous PA guilds, is that there are previous PA guilds. Just about everyone here as been in, as member, officer, or even leader, a previous PA guild.

Many of the mistakes and successes of the past are laid out pretty clearly in front of us.

Accault, is that a challenge? We should have deathmatch. Drinking game. While playing Warhammer. On a roof.

And I think we'll be fine if we keep Wren in a box. Like a drama-trap.

Three new screenshots on Warhammer Vault show that they're definitely not getting rid of the "clown suit" method completely. They don't look bad but you can see they're mix and match.

I don't know. I kind of hope not. I think the art resources are better spent on making new models and textures than creating dye-able stuff.

I am hesitant about armor dyes. As long as they prevent certain color combinations so it does not end like up in Everquest where you had rainbow tanks and giant pink Ogres.

There are pink chaos warriors in 40K.

If any faction should get the colour pink, it is chaos.

They've got limitations on things. No pink orcs, for instance.

Yeah, they said they'd make limitations fitting for each of the factions.

With that said, I hope chaos gets pink. Just to spite all of the generic chaos warriors who will choose black and red as their colours.
